i was down there today too. Nexus line was crazy and I got pulled in for my purchases

$450 camera : had to pay taxes.
two 6 packs of beer cost me an additional $14. Maybe they weren't happy with that. Normally they don't care if I bring over a bottle of wine.

First time I've had to pay anything extra for a couple years of having items delivered to PR. Still cheaper than Canada.

Maybe I spoke too soon because it appears my package is delayed, I'm assuming held up by the customs backlog

They probably charged you because you brought back more than a 6 pack. I've brought back 1x 6 pack or 1x bottle of wine most of the time I go down there and they're fine with it.

Haven't been in this thread for a while. A friend of mine mentioned about 5Dpackages, so I went to this thread to check out reviews.

Surely enough, it's been the big topic in the last few pages.
Just wondering is this REVSCENE5 code expired now? I just signed up but didn't find a code box to type it in.

I'm sure if Jamie reads this, he'll credit it to you. He's a nice enough guy so I suspect he'll do that.

If not, you can always go through the referral route and have someone refer you and you'll get the credit too!

Will it also stack on top of a referral credit?

Luckily for myself when I decided to buy new rims and tires, I split it into two orders and got waived through twice.
Most likely not a big deal, went through with $1200 before, just got waived through, or perhaps I was just lucky that time.

You were extremely lucky.

The first time I've ever been taxed was on tires worth $600

All good! I have a few friends that I need to refer anyways

Today was actually my first time at 5d. Great outfit. Was somewhat busy when I drove by, but empty after I filled up on gas. In and out in 30s. Just the way I like it!

You definitely have my business unless I know I need to pick up during some weird hour. Thanks!

Thread revival.

Inout Parcel in Point Roberts is now my default shipping destination. Its faster, closer, cheaper and open 24/7. Used them for the first time today.

PR Shell is my second choice if I have several small items to buy. Its cheap and they hold stuff longer. Plus they have gas and coffee.

TSB is now my number 3 choice. Nice folks working there but they are too busy. Sometimes you have to wait to pay in the store then wait again at the trailers. I will only go there if I need to send stuff out.

YO guys, does anyone here cross the border to ship items from canada to US post office regularly as commercial goods? I got in trouble few times with the border people because I misunderstood their procedures, ie, not providing my ebay invoices and not going into the commercial lane at the truck crossing, also not providing a manifest that they wanted, anyways, they gave me a hard time after those few times and I got flagged,

the border guy said next time I cross with commercial goods, I will be fined $5000, is that true or is it a scare tactic they use, has anyone ever been fined by the US custom guys? ... they said next time i cross with commercial goods, I need to declare it formally, anyone know how to do this
