anybody play ranked games online?
EA keeps screwing up my record
i got credited for a loss 2 games that i won
and one game that i won didn't' count
i should still be undefeated dammit  |

played a bit this weekend... started off with a 12-3-1 record. not bad.
compared to 08, this one has fewer cheese goals and you really have to EARN your goals. there are the occasional flukes but so far it seems a hella better than 08.
good stuff. the gameplay seems slower, though (online).

PC platform gets the shaft again ...
I love how my system is at least 10x more powerful than an XBOX 360, yet EA gives me NHL '06 v1.4 ... $50 for a roster update ?!? Where do I sign ?!?

i dunno ~ i find goal scoring much easier in nhl 09 ~ u can still easily deke out the goalie ~ and now u can just do the old bertuzzi power move drive to the net and knock the puck in lolx

so wtf, my stats doesnt update if i play the ranked custom online team play matches?
i've been averaging 3 pts for those games but when i check my player card, they dont update??! wtf, so the only way I could lvl up is palying with my club members?

in the EA forums there is an announcement that they are working on the online stats and rankings. should be fixed in a couple days

Does anyone else have problems playing EASHL games on Xbox? Sometimes once my team gets to the dressing room, we then search for a game, find one, but one player won't see the normal screen. Instead of seeing all the players and the teams, they'll see a blank screen with the Penguins and Red Wings, yet voice communication still works.

i was just in the middle of an EPIC game with a buddy. back and forth. great defence and scoring chances at either end. was 0-0 and it went to OT and in about the 10th round of the shootout which we both scored in "you have lost your connection to the EA server. the EA servers are temporarily unavailable please try again later"
on a related note, anyone notice how fucking hard it is to score in a shootout?

omg i just got the game but i left my controllers at my buddys house... guess i gotta wait til he gets off. did anyone start bap in all star diffculty and as a goalie? i kind of want to be the uber goalie when online =D

^ I tried it and it wasn't that bad. It provides this blue arrow which makes it easier when the cpu is flying down the wing. I then changed back to a regular player as I got bored playing goal lol

sometimes when i play online
the commentators start talking about the tampa bay lighting and how they traded brad Richards to Dallas for mike smith
even though neither team or player is on the ice 
does this happen to anyone else? its happened to me like 3 times
also when a player scores on his own net, it shows the animation of that player celebrating with the other team, i don't' know if they did that on purpose or not but its hilarious when it happens
