I'm pretty sure both times there were 6 fingers, and i was talking to some friends who watched it too they said there's a delta symbol on the leaf which i totally missed. I love these crazy little easter eggs in the show lmao.

good show. watched it on ctv.ca

Delish 09-18-2008 09:35 PM

The show has a lot of potential, but if it ends up turning out the way Lost has become (more questions, fewer answers), I don't think I could take it. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Lost.. I'm just slowly losing my patience :P

Great tip, thanks!

Glad we can't watch shows on nbc.com, fox.com, or hulu.com else my work productivity would tank.

k20a 10-05-2008 01:56 PM

Yep! This show is pretty good, kinda gets the heart rate going. haha

stuff99 12-11-2008 06:06 PM

this show is awesome. reminds me of x-files.

Crowtservo 01-14-2010 08:05 PM

OK so I just watched the episode from last week and it appears it was aired out of order?

There was no real story development, Arthur seemed completely different than the prior episode, and most importantly AGENT CHARLIE FRANCIS WAS THERE. He was just being his regular self, didn't seem to notice that HE DIED MONTHS AGO.

I'm not surprised Fox f***ed up, but you'd think they'd get it right once in a while. If they decided not to air it when it was first supposed to be aired, it was obviously wasn't important enough to included anyway but then they throw it in as filler for the hell of it. Disappointing.

wouwou 01-16-2010 05:59 PM

still watching, and Olivia is so very hot

They also shot an episode down in Chinatown last season.

Creepy Chinese guy chopping guy up.

I stopped shopping for meat in Chinatown for a good month because of it lol.

maybe it IS this season, I didn't look up the episode.

It's the one where some weird creatures were smuggled in human bodys for medicine purposes.

The part that got me? Peter was tailing the creepy Chinese guy, and the chop shop was across "Chinesetown Super Market".

IRL, the chop shop is where HON'S is.

spoon.ek9 01-30-2010 07:01 PM

this week's episode was filmed at ubc, chan centre!

way2quik 05-27-2010 03:01 PM

I just finished watching season 2 finale.
The cases in season one was what got me hooked. Season 2 felt a bit different. Regardless, the finale was awesome.

MG1 05-30-2010 03:02 AM

I'm hooked on this show. I don't think I've missed an episode yet (thanks, PVR). First season seemed to be all over the place at first, but it has become one of my favourites. I didn't think anything of Olivia at first, but yeah, she's kind of hot, I guess. I think the black chick is cute. Love the typewriter - Selectric whatever.

Bowling alley dude is a bit creepy (also the typewriter keeper). LOL at Leonardo Nimoy.

twitchyzero 05-30-2010 10:02 AM

^ so it picks up in the 2nd season?
i'm just about half way to 1st...losing interest in it.

Alby 05-30-2010 12:19 PM

depends on what you are looking for in the show. if you are just into cases, i wouldn't say anything special in season 2 as compared to season 1, but for the drama, as how olivia and peter develops their relationship and the truth of peter, then definitely yes.

way2quik 05-30-2010 12:46 PM

^ Definitely. Second season explained A LOT about Peter and Walter and Nimoy, but sources claim Nimoy won't return for a third season due to retirement.

Season two was shot entirely in Vancouver, the individual cases is nowhere near spectacular as the first, but definitely some character development, and another amazing plot. :D

G-spec 05-30-2010 01:13 PM

I saw the first few episodes when it premiered, I was really desperate and looking for something to replace the X files for me. The only shows I ever watched are X-files, Star Trek TNG and Lost. All of these are long gone now so I might pick up Fringe again depending on how good it is right now.
So how is it ? is it better or worse than when it first started out ?

edit: crap, just read this

and I'm not interested in "character developments" i want some mind blowing X files type shit, cuz they pulled it off perfectly, the sexual tension between Mulder and Scully was enough character development for me.

I'm a big fan of X-Files and Lost. I vouch for Fringe.
