Yes.

Not loving this new season. I liked the last season cause most of the episodes were self contained with a bit of back story linking the characters. Now I feel I have to watch every episode to keep up to date on what is happening. I missed the season finale so I had to PVR a repeat and watch it to understand a lot of this season.

yeppers, it has been real good so far. It's off until Nov when the MLB playoffs are over.

Ah, that's why Hells Kitchen is off too. Dammit.

murd0c 10-21-2010 02:35 PM

yep most shows are on repeat this time of year do to baseball.

UnDeadMage 10-21-2010 02:49 PM

yeah i keep up to date. fringe is one of the better series this fall season

way2quik 10-21-2010 07:21 PM

This is one of the better seasons.
Season 2 was meh due to a lot of fillers.
I hope season 3 brings out some awesome cases as the first. So far, it's more story than case by case.

wouwou 10-22-2010 12:08 AM

I kinda liked the fillers though

The episode with the killer box was great at combining story with an awesome case. I hope we get more of those.

Bippity bump. Had no idea this series existed; watched a few episodes today and I'm totally on board to watch this over winter break :D

murd0c 12-12-2010 05:32 PM

This is my favorite show on tv right now. I was and still am a huge X-Files fan and this show is kinda along the same lines with the type of stories.

each season on dvd is only $20 at hmv, with the boxing day sales they are going to have you could get it for pretty cheap ;)

stuff99 12-13-2010 09:00 PM

They are filming at Hastings and Cambie right now. Been filming all day.

spoon.ek9 12-13-2010 09:15 PM

i accidentally drove by them while filming in coquitlam during the summer. i have to say, the story line has improved a lot and i find myself anxiously waiting for the next episode (a sign of any good show :)).

wouwou 12-14-2010 04:32 AM

This show is probably the only one that I will miss during the Christmas break

It got so freaking good, and Anna Torv OMG.

spoon.ek9 12-14-2010 10:15 AM

her looks have improved a lot since the beginning of the show :D

way2quik 12-19-2010 06:02 PM

Fringe s2 bluray @ $49.99 at BestBuy.
I don't think this is considered a hot deal, but for those buying presents it isn't too bad a deal.

Season 1 was at $29.99 when I bought it last year at Futureshop.

stuff99 12-20-2010 10:48 PM

I have an extra brand new set of Fringe season 2 on blu ray. I had it but my friends got it for my bday.

Let me know if anyone wants it for $40

spoon.ek9 03-12-2011 12:46 PM

last night's episode was shot at HJ Cambie! (the museum part)

Spoiler!

murd0c 03-12-2011 01:26 PM

I was actually invited to the set at Riverview last week but couldnt take a afternoon off from work :(

man I so love this show, the new age X-Files I have so been needing a show like this since X-Files ended.

spoon.ek9 03-12-2011 06:58 PM

i wonder if "olivia" cracked up while trying to do that accent hah

Culverin 03-13-2011 01:24 AM

Yeah, zomg. It's like free special effects.
It's almost like Doctor Who, except the rest of the effects still look good.

taylor192 03-15-2011 01:57 PM

I don't remember if we've ever seen both William Bells, the one from our world, and the one from the alternate world. I only remember one, and that was from our world yet crossed over to the alternate world.

Can anyone provide more info?

spoon.ek9 03-16-2011 10:21 PM

^ good question.. i can't remember but there was some mention of the alternate bell. either way, the one that's "in" olivia now is the original bell i would presume.
