Good place to get flowers

Are there any good place to get flowers that has delivery? :haha:

Good_KarMa 10-17-2008 02:41 AM

If you pay me i will go out and pick the flowers and deliver it to her. I'll even throw in a song. Perhaps something by Lil Wayne should suffice. But don't blame me if she falls in love with me. Which i can almost guarantee she will. :wiggle:

Personally I go to Thomas Hobbs in Kerrisdale on 41st and Boulavard.

Not being cheap or anything but I find that there are better options aside from Thomas Hobbs. I got a dozen of roses and not only did it hurt the wallet, it wasn't anything special.

"Buy The Bunch" on Main and I think it was 28th or 29th isn't bad however, I'm not sure if they're still there. There's a mom'n'pop shop owned by a retired Japanese couple in their 60s, I believe called Rainbow Florists on Main not far away from Buy the Bunch who deserve notable mention.

Rip off in the worst degree, but most florists are all the same, I go to a florist at mckenzie and 41st, but the best place for affordable flowers is a distributor down on SW Marine and Manitoba 3 dozen roses for $15 dollars

TheKingdom2000 10-17-2008 04:11 PM

ok. this place doesn't deliver, but...

They have the nicest flowers in town. I GUARANDAMNTEE it.
it is run by an old chinese couple and i swear to you, you will not find a better deal on flowers and their presentation is beyond amazing.

They are located on Knight street and 57th avenue in Vancouver.
Right next to the Chevron gas station, it is a convenience store/flower shop (it's on 57th avenue).

I'm telling you, for the price you pay for flowers, and for what you get. you'll be blown away! their style has a HK flavour but with their own twist!

that looks good as display but the girl may not like it... i order one that was custom made for my ex it was in that style and she didn't like it as much as regular hk style flower wrapping

stewie 10-18-2008 06:59 PM

they've orderd through my mom for years, they know exactly what they get and the quality ;)

its 10x better in person...took that pic on my counter with my cellphone...

LongDongSilver 10-18-2008 11:37 PM

No chick deserves 200 dollar flowers unless youre about to propose to her.

michimaro 10-19-2008 12:03 AM

There's a flower shop in Pacific Plaza in Richmond (Cambie & Garden City) They had really nice roses and they deliver. Not sure about the cost though but the quality is good.
