if you want to gamble you can't feel bad for losing, its a major part of gambling |
ive never really been a fan of gambling, a few times a played roulette, turned 20, into 100, then lost it all:haha:just did it to pass some time. I put 100 dollars on red, and it landed on green, wtf!!!! |
Funny how this year's fireworks are sponsored by Edgewater.... It's like the government saying...."No we don't want you to smoke, but go ahead and gamble." |

I went to the casino a few times to see what the hype was about lost $20 to some slot machines a couple of times and walked out feeling like shit. Everyone says that you can't win off slots and have to play poker or blackjack but these are the same people that drop 1g like its nothing. |

you mean take calculated risk. Gambling is casino games where you are at a disadvantage from the start. |
I go to US Casinos to get Canadian at par, freebies, cheap food and free money, albeit 5 or 10 bucks. I'm ahead by a bit. I use the free money they dangle in front of me and only play that. I rack up the points and they send me more offers, LOL. I play penny slots. It's fun and I quit when the money they give me is done. Biggest win was 350 bucks or so with a 60 cent spin. Did that a couple of times. I stay away from table play. I walk away as soon as I'm ahead. Being a senior, you get lots of perks. The only bad thing about US casinos is the second hand smoke, but I kind of like it......... Does that qualify as gambling smart? Hee hee........ Oh, and I go when cross border shopping and getting cheap gas. The casino is on the way to all that. Fuark, this is an old thread. Started before I got into it. Classic thread bump right there. |
I recommend going to Macau or Las Vegas, if you wanna make money. The casinos here you can't win money because the casino cheats. River Rock casino is the worst offender. They will alter the cards inside the shoe whenever bids go up. For vip baccarat tables, the shoe is totally blacked out so you can't even see the cards, and electronically controlled by a person in the backroom. Whenever the bids go up to 1000, i guarantee you will lose, cuz the backroom person will manipulate the outcomes by altering the next card. This only occurs in the vip tables, for the outside tables (manual shoe) it is fine. My friend on the first day, brought with him 100k to play baccarat at river rock and won 100k. then he played for 3 days in a row after initial winning, lost 900k afterwards. Then he had to sign a loan agreement with river rock casino which was offered to him if he wanted to continue playing. moral of the story is don't expect to win at local casinos, always go macau or Vegas for winnings. |

They expect you to play at least ten bucks worth at the slots. I get around that by playing with my saved vouchers. Being a senior, I get free slot plays twice a week. It's really not worth it unless you're a regular there. I cross at Sumas all the time and pick up parcels at the 24/7 there. The USA Gasoline station at Sumas had one of the lowest prices in all of Washington until they closed down for renovation. The Sumas crossing has a Nexus lane that becomes a Ready Lane and crossing there is a snap. Coming back is a bear, but I usually go to the casino and take the Aldergrove crossing back across. The crossing sucks ass right now, because of the new crossing they are working on, so I take the Birch Bay - Lynden Road and cross at PA or Truck Crossing. I cross back before the traffic builds up. It's usually 5 or less, 10 minutes wait at the most. |

Please enlighten us, how Casino switched the cards inside a shoe? VIP or outside, doesn't matter, same plexiglass case, you can't see inside the shoe, even on the floor. Shoe is not attached to anything, no electronic devices attached. Casino offering loan? I'm pretty sure no casino in BC, will loan you even a penny. BCLC will never allow that. |
dont think Gululu has a clue what he is talking about lol probably watched too much ocean's series |
lol i remember getting in the casino everyday when i was like 17 or 18 and smoke bud before going in haha |

Common for higher stake gamblers in most casinos around the world and legal in Canada. |
all winning takes is the discipline of getting up and walking away while you're up. or else you'll just end up losing it all back plus more, no matter how much you've won. |
