I wouldn't have reacted like that. Besides, I wouldn't let my 4 year old wander out of my reach like that. Most people in their right mind would not kick a little kid. I honestly would have asked for an explanation. The kick was not that harmful. Too many people these days jump to conclusions.

As a dad with what seems like multiple four year olds, I would have snapped on the guy too and knocked him the fuck out.

My kids are well behaved. They don't mess around, and listen to what dad says. I don't hit them, but I have spent a lot of time teaching them that when you do something wrong, you will have repurcussions. They may not understand the "why" aspect yet, but they do understand the "repurcussion" aspect.

Obviously this man did not understand that part. In many ways, he is like a 4 year old himself. The difference is that if another 4 year old kicks my kid, there won't be much damage, When someone the size of an adult does it, the damage can be done.

While it's an extreme measure, this guy will probably not do that again.
Think about how else it could have gone. In the wrong neighbourhood, this guy could have been shot. In many ways, this was the best case scenario.

By the video, it seems like the 4 year old was being loud or making a lot of noise which caused the guy with down syndrome on phone getting pissed off... then he just spun around, had a little kick, then BOOM... Father WINS.

Totally agreed. I wouldn't care if the person was a guy/girl/handicapped etc etc. I'd do exactly the same.

heck your first instinct wouldn't be to ponder if this guy is gay, handicapped, or messed up in other ways. That split second would be to knock the guy out.
