Assuming you buy it every single day, it's $21.9/year. If you can't get a raise in a year to bring your yearly income up $21.9/year get a new job. Or work harder.

All coffee places should offer free wifi for it's customers now, I'm surprised TH doesn't

misteranswer 11-28-2008 06:30 AM

Tim Horton's doesn't want you to stay. Max seating limit 30 minutes. Eat and leave. Therefore, no wifi.

Glad I have a dollar store across the street from my work  2 big bags for $1

quasi 11-28-2008 07:33 AM

My coffee cost the same this morning as it has every morning for the last year, $1.53. Either they just raised the price on french vanilla's or you got served.

Roach 11-28-2008 07:36 AM

I found it annoying when they bumped the price of the double double a year or so back. It used to be under $1.50, so it was easy to grab change. Now it's $1.53 and for some reason I'm always missing the $0.03. Grr.

Oh well, still a great value imo.

I'm with Kardboard. I have never been to a Tim Horton's that had free wifi.

It's not quite a coffee lounge, but more like a restaurant, ja? You can chill with a date at Starbucks or Blenz or something before going somewhere, but you don't really do that at a Timmy's.

OK, I would. :haha:

Exactly. What irks me is that they always turn off the PayPass receiver at the ones I go to, and it's so much quicker (and cooler!) to pay with that. I asked once why it was turned off and they said that people thought it was scary and insecure. :lol Luddites!:D

hal0g0dv2 11-28-2008 09:47 PM

remember when a penny candy was a penny 30 years ago, its the same deal stuff goes up, flour is double the price from 3 years ago

Shun Izaki 11-28-2008 10:21 PM

that is very true when i use to eat there it wold be like 7 bucks 5 bucks sometimes they would ask iff i want a donut lol, does not come with a donut, i guess its cheaper to not train them

iam_dan 11-29-2008 02:03 AM

hmm......

semi off topic but, anyone been to the lougheed mall tim hourtons? it is hands down THE WORST tim hourtons location EVER.
its such a POS. ive gone there about 6 times
every time, something goes wrong
they get my order wrong every f*cking time.
they screw up the recipes or something and the soups always taste like shiiiiiit
they totally rip you off on the portions. they always underpour the soups there.
they often have only 4 selections of donuts because they run out and dont remake them timely.

every single time, im thinking "what the heck, ill give them another go. im sure i only ran into bad luck the previous 6 times"
and they just always let me down

/rant

+Kardboard+ 11-29-2008 09:34 AM

Lol you give them too many chances.

jtanner_ 11-29-2008 10:31 AM

Considering how frequently I go there I havn't really noticed a difference in prices.. guess its cause i don't have a 'usual'.. but damn this all adds up

Kagemusha 11-29-2008 01:01 PM

When their suppliers increase the cost of their goods, the company has to raise the cost of their products too.

You don't see a rise in prices at certain places for a long time because they usually have a contract with their suppliers to buy the goods at a set price for a certain amount of time.

And it's only 0.06.

Then there's normal inflation, the changing ways of measuring inflation, the economic impact of immigration, stagflation, monetary policy, supply and demand.... :haha:
