fsy82 12-08-2009 08:40 AM

and now roughly a year later today my timmies french vanilla has gone from 1.85 to a 1.93...all timmies prices have gone up today..sigh

shenmecar 12-08-2009 08:44 AM

they raise prices once a year.....so first raise by 6 cents, then raise by 8 cents. By this time next year, it will be raised by 10 cents.

fsy82 12-08-2009 08:47 AM

well thats just great..lol

silk 12-08-2009 09:36 AM

GLOW 12-08-2009 09:41 AM

Fo sho. This sucks, I remember when the price of a medium now got me a large coffee. Ah well. I'm still an addict/loyal customer.

:werd:

I barely drink coffee. Like 3 or 4 times a year? I have tons of friends who can't live without it :lol. Timmy's breakfast sandwich and their sandwiches are fuckin good though.

Mugen EvOlutioN 12-08-2009 11:35 AM

same some of my co workers live on coffee, its like WTF!!!

when i drink coffee i lose appetite

i dont know dude, timmys breakfast is so hard to swallow. lol

i prefer macdickes greasy mofo breakfast

RRxtar 12-08-2009 11:39 AM

i hate to say it but mcdonalds snausage and egg sammich is definitely better. i hate the biscuit that timmys uses and the bagel isnt much better.

timmys lunch sammiches are alright but not great, especially for what they cost.

coffee ftw tho. but mcdonalds coffee actually is pretty alright too.

its because tim hortons is a place for people to get a coffee on their way to WORK

when i very rarely walk into a 'coffee shop' to grab a coffee and see all the trendy art fags lounging around, it makes me glad i got a real job. (and i dont mean students studying either)

+1 for McD's java, -1 to artsy losers (not real artists, though).

I quite like the biscuit Timmy's uses, but I much prefer the other bits from McDonald's. Actually, McD's Big Breakfast > everything else.

Leopold Stotch 12-08-2009 01:26 PM

lol i remember i wanted to go into timmy's to get some coffee
and walked into a Starbucks

asked for a Large coffee black 2 sugars.

she replied, I'm sorry you have to put the sugar in for yourself.

i felt like a moron, blubbered an apology about thinking it was somewhere else and ran away.

i know what you mean! mcdonalds coffee is pretty good find

and the biscuit for the timmy breakfast sandwhiches taste odd.

I've ordered extra-large whatevs at Starbucks and venti's at Timmy's.

Also, the yesterday I saw a woman double-fist the two. Came out of Starbucks with a grande and then lined up at Timmy's for another coffee LOL :lol

GLOW 12-08-2009 03:13 PM

mcd's coffee is seattle's best isnt it? which is basically like star bucks, but i think it's better.

Mugen EvOlutioN 12-08-2009 03:21 PM

its so blend tho

skyxx 12-08-2009 03:28 PM

^ You mean Bland?

I used to work at starbucks and was so happy I learned the Timmy's lingo from my small-town relatives so that when someone came in asking for a large canadian or double-double I knew to say "venti black coffee" or "venti coffee and cream and sugar are right behind you".

Some of my coworkers were kind of confused when we'd get people from back east. Always amused me.

Random funny story, I remember I was working one day with a coworker who had a strong canto accent and one of my thickly-accented mainland customers came in and tried to order a "tah dak" (tall dark) and my coworker had no idea what he was saying. I turned to my coworker and said "tall dark" and said to the customer "that'll be $1.66". Funny shit.

Saw a sign up at Timmy's in Richmond centre saying that their prices are increasing.

Subway and timmies are my addiction these days lol. I need their chili once a wk atleast, and I love their double doubles

You, sir, have good taste. Let me adjust my monocle and raise a glass to ye!

goo3 12-08-2009 11:22 PM

at starbucks, it's pay $5 to drink and stay

at tim horton's, it's pay the buck and GTFO. There's 5 more ppl behind you.

StealthFighter 12-09-2009 12:16 AM

i hate when you get $1 bag of chips or chocolate bar, it ends up being 1.05 or something. then i end up getting 95 cents in change.

plus the tim hortons at sfu blowwwws. franchised by chartwell's. they work slower than other tim hortons. they charge you for debit card use, they don't accept credit card and no espresso machine.
