Which Honda Dealer is good? experiences on buying brand new car

Hi,
Im looking to buy a brand new honda accord. Pls post some good places to look at. How much is reasonable to ask off the price for a brand new car? Some tips on how to get the best deals. So far I've been to 2 dealers to look at the price etc. One dealer said they can give a better price then the asking price but i am not too sure how much off would be consider good

Thanks

Just go to any Honda dealers and feel it yourself.

Vancouver Honda is not too BAD..

Apart from one salesperson....

My Friend and I tested a Si the day before with him ( This salesperson couldn't drive a Manual car!! He asked me to park the car back into their lot after taking it out...)

The other day, when my friend decided to test a V6 accord, that guy was talking to other customers by the enterance. I introduced my old salesperson to my friend and when that guy came back into the showroom, he barked like a dog, " IT IS UNFAIR, XYZABC@$%$" ftw...

As a result, my friend got the Si from my old salesperson. lol

Richmond Honda is pretty good but don't expect to get much discount on a brand new car.

My parents purchased a new Accord from Vancouver Honda. No BS, worked the price down and gave my parents a good trade in value.

Got my 08 accord SEdan Coupe at Carter honda.
I would say... they are not the best sales ppl.
but they gave me lots of extra stuff because they had one little mistake on the car.

Manage to get the price of a EX model ($2,000 cheaper) and Free Rear Mud-Guard, 3-Free Oil Change, Free Paint Protection Package.

got my Si from happy honda..everything did go smoothly however they didn't really seem like they care at all. i was told when i went there that my car already arrived and it would be here in a couple days. in the end i had to wait 3 weeks before they called me it was here. Service department is pretty wasy to deal with..nice and friendly staff. I wouldn't really recommend it...they didn't give me that feeling that they really cared too much about their job. I'd personally prefer a salesman whom actually enjoys his job..it just makes the whole experience that much more special. Happy Honda did a good job in selling the car...just lacked the enthusiam.

I got a CRV from Carter Honda, and I would advise against getting a vehicle there. My opinion is largely influenced by the customer service there.

i had a semi good experience at Vancouver Honda, Midnitez i might take you up on your offer, depending on what car my mom and sister decide on

09 Si vs 09 GTS, really it's what my mom wants vs what my sister wants lol

had a lot of patience with us and just recently sold us the civic sport. +1 for joey =).

Ch28 12-07-2008 11:09 PM

If you go to Middlegate Honda make sure you stay the fuck away from Benji. He screwed me over last time because he tried selling me a scratched up car and said "all new cars come with scratches"

Go to Vancouver Honda and look for Wilson Ng. Great guy to deal with and extremely knowledgeable.

Call Nanaimo Honda and ask one of the sales people for their best price if you buy the car today. I did that with my Si and got a much better deal than they were willing to give me anywhere else. It's worth the ferry ride if they take $1000 off right?

might be a bit late to tell you since you signed all the papers, but every honda dealer can give you $1000 off of a one time purchase. i went to three diff dealers and it's standard for them to give you that. you should've shopped around some more.

rob76 12-08-2008 12:07 PM

Nobody would budge. I called every dealer in Victoria and the lower mainland. Besides, this was a lease and I got a 1.5% lease rate so I was already saving about $6000 over the course of the lease.

That's not true at all. My mom just got a fairly hefty discount on a BMW last week. People aren't buying ANY car nowadays. Not just USDM.

As for Honda dealers, I bought my 07 civic out in Abbotsford, but I wouldn't recommend them. Didn't have a terrible experience with them, but it wasn't good either.
