i am not sure how long that's going to last on the show. keefer sutherland said that he didnt' want to get hurt on 24 (in the eposides for his character) cause if he did he would have to film with the same bandage, cast, skratches on his face etc. during the entire shoot of all the eposides.

with the girl being unable to move.. not sure if she can be up and running like normal in next eposide.

.

Isn't that the point tho? That all events of a season is happening in one day??

That's exactly the point... in most "normal" shows, where episodes are set days or weeks apart, if there's a stated timeline at all, a character can get hurt in one ep and have to be all bandaged and patched up, and be back to perfect health by the next episode.

Since all of a 24 season takes place in a single day, if Jack cuts himself shaving at the start of the "day", he has to wear that band-aid for the rest of the season, or screw up continuity.

Anyone of you guys recognize Agent Walker from Supernatural? Met Annie while she was in town filming but she didn't look that great, but as Agent Walker, shes hot, maybe its just that she has a gun and a badge now lol.

shes not dead because she's on future episodes of 24, according to imdb

Wracked my brain trying to figure out where I've seen the actor playing Ethan Kanin. It's the warden from Shawshank Redemption!

Did anyone else think the ending to episode 7 was absolutely hilarious? It made me real hungry...

Unbelievable find (related to the end of episode 7) on the IMDb forums that blew my mind:

I think Tony is having second thoughts...I bet he turns again.

twitchyzero 02-07-2009 07:19 PM

i find this season really similar to season 3, the bio-terror-mexico one. IIRC the plot flow feels the same

Ch28 02-09-2009 08:10 PM

Bauer's slide attack was awesome.

thumper 02-10-2009 05:57 AM

damn. it was a tossup between watching the targa newfoundand coverage on TSN, or 24... i opted for the nissan pulsar gti-r's crashing into the beautiful altantic scenery :p

i hope global will put up streaming for 24 soon.

Im loving 24..

The wait is killing me..

i like this season..

6793026 02-10-2009 08:41 AM

what, i thought thi season was uber boring and i've watched a lot of 24. i hate the low profile CTU or office. I'm still trying to find out who the mole is in that office.

I do enjoy having another female co-lead along with Jack cause it does bring in another lot of dynamics into the story line. It's interesting that this season, and we're only in like the 5 eposide and all terriorist already died off.
I mean, the module is gone already, the pres. husband is found, Dabuku is alive and well. All the antagonist all died so i'm interested in what in the world they're going to do now to continue the storyline.

Its a pretty familiar storyline they have used in the past seasons. Something always comes up to keep Jack Bauer busy. Probably finding out who the moles etc...

I find it odd that you claim you've watched a lot of 24, but aren't feeling the flow of the storyline. Most seasons of 24 follow the stardard 8 episode story arcs, and this season seems to be no different.

GAH When I saw him in 24 Redemption I got a bad vibe, and all because of who he was in the Shawshank Redemption lol

We still have Jon Voight to see (he was in the prequel), and maybe Gil Bellows will show up again (also in Shawshank Redemption!)

westcoastgsr 02-16-2009 09:22 PM

I'm loving the re-introduction of old characters!!!!
