the difference is the conservative and oldschool mentality in alberta will not only not put up with asian gangs shooting eachother, but they will ship them all back to where they came from... vancouver.

Sorry to break it to you guys, but other people shoot each other from other races as well. Vietnamese people aren't the reason why there are shootings and they aren't the reason why there is crime.

Anyone who thinks a particular race is the reason for crime or violence is seriously ignorant.

I always thought Calgary was worse off that Vancouver to begin with.?

The article says the owner and the restaurant is Vietnamese but it never says what the race of the victims were...Lot's of people go to Vietnamese restaurants besides viet people.

white/black/indian/etc. dont all happen in Pho resturants :P

Targeted shooting usually happen at known hangouts...shootings at vietnamese resaurants have been common occurences.

Actually 4 people have been murdered in Calgary since the new years.

Alberta is the biggest magnet for gangsters right now and the cops are not doing anything about it. FIVE ex-Ontario Somalis have been shot (some with known gang/drug connections) in Edmonton in a couple of months and the cops have not made so much as a single arrest...Not only is Alberta not shipping ppl away, it has more and more gangsters coming all the time.

According to criminologists I've spoken to it's gonna get a lot worse before it gets any better.
