The esso on hillside and shelbourne is pretty dead at night. I think the terminal closest to hillside has about half the power the other stalls do though. I doubt they fixed it, cause I heard somebody complain about it a few weeks back again while I was there.

Haven't posted in awhile, but the wash I've settled on is the 3 bay wand wash at the Esso on Hillside/Shelbourne. If you go early in the AM or late at night, there's NOBODY there and the wash isn't visible from the station. You can buy two tickets for $4 (each ticket gives you like 5 minutes of spray) and they have no problem with you bringing a bucket of soapy water and giving the car a good wash.

If you're looking for a great bucket with a lid that you can fill up, go to any Booster Juice and ask for one of theirs. They have these fantastic 3 gallon jobs that have good sealing lids, and they usually just throw them out!

Id never ever use a gas station wash on my car knowing the kind of shit I wash off my truck with the brushes, ive been asked to leave and not come back at the Millbay Shell because I clogged the drain with mud and rocks.

And yeah, if your car is dark colored good luck keeping it clean, my car is dark blue and usually lasts about 2 days before its covered in wet leafs, cedar/alder tree gunk or if its dry out the hatch is covered in dust. Actually if it even just gets frosty overnight my car is covered in dust when it thaws out, damn salt/sand shit on the roads.

next car I get is going to be silver, I swear.
