Anyone sell their book(s) back to the Langara Textbook Buyback week? How much did they offer you? Good deal? :megusta:

Don't they buy back at something like 50% of the brand new cost, depending on condition? Craigslist sounds like a better deal if it's a popular book.

Do Langara students get discounts for the YMCA next door? and if so how much?

^Apparently if you can prove that your income is really low, you get a crazy deal. Try it! My friend did it and he got a pretty sick discount.

What are some ways to go about proving that?

I have a spot open for me through waitlist, and it says that I must register before January 3rd (tomorrow) noon. However, no one can register until January 3rd. So that means I can register tomorrow at about 10? Langara closed so no answer :(
