i went to class today there were 3 empty seat, i told the teacher let me in he said he has no problem he would love to but i have to ask Dean Spencer chairman of the business department.

i think they need to up the requirements a little to register...i'm in jessops 830 marketing on mon-wed. The class is so crowded...people sit at his desk and ends of tables. one guy was late and there was no seats left so he stood by the door. shit is insane LOL

yeah... taking just anybody doesn't really work. there's a lot of lousy people to work with in most 1st/2nd year courses that shouldn't even be at a school. :heckno:

uhh wtf, I was first on a waitlist and I saw that there was still 1 spot available through the search/add courses part of the site. I emailed the prof to see if I could take it and he said he promised another student that seat already and will let me know if they dont want it.

Did someone just email the prof ahead of me and budge in front of me? Cuz if Im first on the list doesnt it mean the spot goes to me?

No i didnt attend the first 2 days of class. I checked the waitlist as i was in 16th place last thurs and 5th on tues(yesterday morn, supposedly last day for waitlist) then I became 1st yesterday evening.

My other class teacher told me that they were instructed to keep the waitlist open till 11th so I decided to msg my other prof.

Yea, some profs like to bump ppl up or promise them the next spot if they attend all the beginning classes. They figure the ppl on the waitlist that do not show are just looking for filler classes and do not show as much interest as the guy that does come to class. Sucks but not sure what you can do. Possibly as dept. head, but that might put you on profs shitlist.

fuckin prof, said first person who approaches him in class after waitlist gets the empty spot if there is one.
