Find out how much your prof made last year

Choose "universities and colleges" under the scroll-down menu, then pick your school, and finally, type in the last name of your prof.

You can also look up the salaries of government employees, cops, etc.

Note: this database only includes people earning over $75,000/year

BTW, the top earning prof is Lorne Whitehead, professor of physics and astronomy at UBC: he raked in $573,636 in 2006-07

i dont think any of you need to know how much my dad makes. i dont need to know either.

i wander if there can be any action against the sun under the privacy act?

This is the public-servant sector. We (taxpayers) get to look at it, so we know where our money is going.

Eastwood 01-16-2009 06:21 PM

only 2 of my profs are on that list.

Larry Chung 89,xxx
Bill Giglio 92,xxx

Merlin 01-16-2009 06:42 PM

Damnn all my professors make 100k+ (Some Asst. Profs making more than senior profs)

so if i come into your store, buy something off you i then have the right to ask how much you make? to see where my money is going?

why does it list peoples names? why not just "a finance minister makes $xxx"

not "mr john of blowjob division makes $132000 ps his wifes name is sandra, he lives on buttfuck street, and if you want you can egg his house between the hours of 7pm and 9pm"

its bs and its infringing on peoples rights

Nope. I have my rights to privacy as a citizen. You're not my boss. I don't work for you. I'd tell you to, "fuck off".

lilaznviper 01-16-2009 06:57 PM

cool

Blinky 01-16-2009 06:57 PM

Jeff, I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but it's legislation.

You absolutely have that right. You might not get an answer.

If you or your father don't like it, he is always free to move to the private sector.

skyxx 01-16-2009 07:01 PM

I was checking out ICBC and BC Lottery lol....

If you come into my store, you choose to buy the product. If lets say you earn 100k a year, and I demand that you spend $33,000 of your hard earned money to give to me, then I will let you know my salary.

These people are in the PUBLIC sector. They work for the public, hence the public has the right to know how much they make. Freedom of information.

i do like the fact that the man that runs a multibillion dollar buisness gets paid less than most doctors tho, and everyone says icbc are crooks. :haha:
