they should start the fire on BOTH ends of the bridge simultaneously. Then no way they are gonna rebuild that pos. |
My buddy and I once talked about how messed up a whole city can get if all bridges were taken down at the same time. Surrey bridges, lions gate, second narrows, etc. Can you imagine? We would have to quit jobs, rely on ferries, etc. Could cause a mini recession vancouver bound if that were to happen |

most intelligent post ever in history of internet! |
It was some homeless people living under the bridge, apparently.... http://watch.ctv.ca/news/latest/brid...ed/#clip130920 Figures... break into an area you're not supposed to be in... then light a fire, burn down the bridge that 80,000 vehicles use every day... nah, we don't need to do anything about the homeless problem in Metro Vancouver, it's fine... they just FUCKING RUIN EVERYTHING AROUND US INSTEAD!!! Fucking pieces of lowlife shit-for-brains. I use that bridge every day... thankfully, against traffic... so getting to work might not be too bad over the Port Mann at 6am... but getting home to Burnaby at 3pm is going to be a fucking nightmare!! The politicians in this province are so fucked in the head, it's not funny. BTW johny, the Patullo is way too small for big trucks... they should be using other bridges, not it. Ever since the Highways dept shut down the scale at the south end, it's been a truck free-for-all. Another dumb idea by the transportation minister.... I lost a good friend and co-worker thanks to the Patullo... his wife got hit by a car that crossed the median, head on... instantly killed. He then took his own life because he couldn't take it anymore... |

WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY... Really how hard is it to get a bridge built? OH WAIT WE LIVE IN VANCOUVER! It takes forever for something to get built or repaired around here. |

I actually agree with Johny. The Vancouver Canucks should have an arena in each city. They should move to the customers instead of the customers moving to them. They would then play each game in a different city rotating to every city in the GVRD. If someone in lets say Mission wants to watch the game live, s/he would not be allowed to drive to Vancouver. Imagine all the traffic congestion that would create. Instead, the Canucks would go to them. I support your idea Johny! |
