make sure the battery is charged or substitute with a known good battery. start car up and let it run for a bit, then disconnect the positive terminal from the battery. if the car dies there is an issue with the alternator, primarily with the voltage regulator.

if the car doesnt die, you have a bad power source(battery), but to be certain, take a volt meter to the battery and check voltage under a load situation.

and easy way to check if it is your battery is to start your car, boost it if neccessary, then just let your car run or drive your car around. if it does die it is probably your alternator not recharging your battery.
its a simple test that generally works if you know your battery is in good shape

Did you have any electronics installed during that time or prior to that? It's also possible you have a parasitic draw somewhere.

do you know if thats the original factory bttery?
While running it should be putting out 14.5 volts. You'll need a load tester to properly see how many amps the alternater is putting out. But ,not likely the alternater. Haven't seen any problems with these newer civics.
Like bcrdikes says, it could be a draw if you have any aftermarket accerories installed. Typicaly, your car should have about a 15 milli amp draw if its all stock
