First car was a Jetta 1.8T....chose it because of the easily modifiable engine. Then once I went euro, I couldn't go back. Then Audi A4 Avant and now BMW M3.

In the years that I have owned euro cars, I have yet to come across any major problems. They have all been pretty reliable.

hmm back in Grade 10, I knew nothing about cars, not even the brands.
Then, my friends showed me GTR34 1st. I was like wow, nice looking car. Then, they showed me BMW M3. I fell in love with it.

After driving my parents M3, I figured why I love it because of its luxury its comfrot, its looks, its power, and its space. Back in the days, 2001-2006, S4 is too heavey. 32 AMG is just sigh...

To me, this is the perfect Sports car ever made in two doors. Everything I want came with this car.

If a Honda Toyota Hyundai or etc offers the same vehicle as solid as this one, I definitely buy a car from them. I couldn't care less about the brands.

How about the new Hyundai Genesis or the Infinity/Nissan 350z/G35/7

m3 has been the bench mark for the longest time. every other car jsut tries to be an m3 so why not just get an m3.

because the competitors offer similar performance, reliability and a much lower price tag.

of course, but for some people that feeling is not enough to justify an extra 20g's.

My dad always owned Volvos. So naturally I bought a Volvo. The RWD Volvos are pretty easy to work on. I also lived as a kid in Germany where they grew on me.

To each his own bro~~
but im sure about one thing ~~
for younger people who drives an euro , specially asian guys = how rich they are/ their parents are and easier to get chicks ... well thats what always happen in asia ..
PLus Euro cars such as Bimmer's or MB's does really mean how thick your pocket is to some ppl...

Older people who drives euro really do mean power and money they have and consider as mature too...

You just cant compare euro and japanese cars together ...
Its not about the quality or anything , its the brand name and the people in vancouver are most likely asian .. back in asia euro cars cost like double or triple of the price here ..
so basically its cheap to them ..you got it ?? and lets look at the japanese cars here , they cost pretty much and not too far away from asia , so to them ...why spend the same amount of money and get a japanese car , while you can just add some more for euro .
thats just what i thought .. im asian as well and driving euro too .. and im driving one really consider it mature car ... ^^

I bought mine cause it was $34K base ($40K with options) with an all glass roof, 200 hp/tq, a simple/effective interior, and CHEAP on insurance (less than a 4dr Nissan Sentra).

Until the new GTI and A3 came out, the only other hatch with similar performance/options was the RSX-S.

I wish I hadn't bought a Euro. I'm OK with electrical gremlins, yet this car has lacked mechanical reliability. These cars were supposed to be built like tanks, not anymore.

^ Taylor192 did have a streak of bad luck. He has a W203 C-coupe.

I have one too. While there were a ton of warranty issues (like cracked steering buttons, broken trunk hatch button, and like 30 other warranty repairs) in the first few years which I admit is worse than ANY domestic we have ever owned, nothing major has ever happened that resulted in a crippled car. His car might've been built on a Friday afternoon.

And nothing beats the fun factor of a Euro

Actually, I testdrove the RSX, TSX, Mazda6, 325Ci, A4, Civic and Accord before settling on the C-coupe. This was in 2003. The main difference/dealbreaker was that all of the Jap cars above seemed to "float" above 120km/h. Handling was about the same overall (I don't autox so what do I know). I originally went out to buy a Jap, and ended up with a German instead.
