Exactly. The chance of suckouts is no different online than it is in person. You just see it a lot more, because you are playing WAY WAY WAY more hands.

I'm in once in a while, had to curb my online poker playing lately because of excess plaintiffs but I'll make some time for tourneys.

the chance u getting a decent hand or pocket pair online is def higher than in real life !
No question to that, therefore.. you tend to play more hands and u get beaten by better hands
It felt like set ups playing online
I been going casino to play poker 4 days a week in the year of 2006 and it last for 1yrs and 9months before i went bankrupt on BACARRAT TABLE lol*
within the 2 yrs, i have only see 4 times Quad and 1 time Royal flush and 3 times straight flush..where when i play online for 1 months, i see nurmous QUAD, STRAIGHT FLUSH , and ROYAL FLUSH... not to mentioned FULL HOUSE BEATEN BY FULL HOUSE and sets over sets...
overall.. i wouldnt want to play online.. but real life is COOL ..

How many hands have you played online? I estimate that I've played more than 50k hands online (not a lot). Playing online it's super easy to play for an hour or two and play 500+ hands - and that's just four-tabling.
Now, how long would it take to play this many hands live? Let's estimate that each hand, live, takes 1 minute. This is clearly conservative because it usually takes at least a minute for the first round of betting alone.
500 hands = 500 minutes ~ 8+ hours at the casino, vs 1.5 hours online.
50 000 hands = 50 000 minutes = more than a month of time at the casino, playing every single minute of every day, never eating, sleeping, washing, shitting or fapping... or if you played 12 hour days, it's almost 70 days of playing poker.

my point wasnt how fast each hand is.. my point is playing online u could get more premium hand then in real life.
have you ever try out the lighting poker at Villa or Starlight...? i sat there for 3 hrs once, and on average every 10~15 hands, u get AJ or above to start
i found it odds.... and not as realistic ..
dont get me wrong.... online and any automated DEALING can be a fun game also.. but u get better thrill at a face to face game

i don't really consider myself a poker player, i always need to be reminded of the rules everytime i play.
what i don't get is... how does online poker work? how the fuck do you "bluff". i mean, you can't even see your opponents faces or whatever, everyone's pretty much stone cold. doesnt online play take away a big portion of what poker is really about?
i always loved the bluffing part of poker, i play just for the deception part of the game. i ove the fact that i can play fucking mind games with the opponents.

That's where bluffing comes in.
