			they have been talking about this for years...but most architechs said it is not really feasible...the earlier design was a under-water tunnel from Xiamen to Taipei.
 
 I still remember hyde was saying he would have four license plates on his car (china, hk,
 taiwan, and macau), then people laughed at him cause the article was saying the tunnel
 was for train only.

			Isn't there a lot of fishing in that region? Pretty sure construction of a bridge that size would cause a lot of problems for the fishing industry.
