I like Mike Brown's defense mindset and how all the Lakers are buying to it. I'm indifferent about Bynum's return. Kid gotta grow the fuck up and stop doing dumb shits on and off the floor.

Metta's change in game is quite impressive. He's minimizing the impact of the loss of Odom.

I like Lakers' chance if Bynum have a break out year instead of getting injured. I know I'm being totally irrationally optimistic here.

^I think lakers only chance is if Bynum breaks out this year (kinda hard to believe too when hes injured every year) -_________-

I didnt watch todays game, but I agree that the defense has gotten better (by stats) everyones held below 90 pts (except sac). Which is pretty good so far

Bynum was a monster tonight. Real test will be tomorrow in the 2nd of a back2back in the thin air of Denver. If everyone stays healthy and Pau doesn't play like a scared little girl i like their chances even against Okc, Mia and Chi. DAL looks like they're done...

Bynum is a finger crossed for me. Only time will tell if he would be injury-free.

The Lakers are buying everything Mike Brown dump on them which is a good thing. I was surprised when Kobe called for the ball multiple time but did not get it. Even Fish, on one occasion, shoveled the ball straight to Bynum in the pose for a dunk instead of Kobe outside the perimeter.

Gasol is playing more as a pick and pop--he's starting to throw up treys--than a post player which is a good thing if Bynum really grows up and have an All-Star season.

The Lakers need a consistent three point specialist to stretch the floor and be less predictable. Blake is just horrendous. Fucking go with Bryant to the gym and learn some footwork god damn it.

Mark Cuban is a little bitch and 2011 is the only ring he'd ever get. Guy started doing commercial and shits with the cup . What a classless douchebag.

^ Bynum dropped around 20lbs off season, also put in a lot of work for endurance and stamina training with Freddy Roach (Pacqiuao's Trainer) and he did some weird yoga shit as well for his knees and legs to gain more flexibility apparently....
from watching his first game back, I think it shows, I can't remember ever seeing him this consistent throughout the whole game with his footwork in the post and the shots he was throwin up, he was just killin it

lemme introduce yall to LeBrshaniqua btw, she plays in the WNBA

Are different posts necessary for each thought ... ?

Anyways, according to sources - Cousins never demanded a trade.

Cousins is a very good big man, but an immature piece of shit, one of the worst I've seen in recent years...

what happened was he was frustrated (as usual) last night, and when coach took him out the game as he was walking towards the bench he yelled out "Just fucking trade me now!" this was confirmed by people in the immediate area including some Kings players.....

basically he's not the only one unhappy with the direction they're taking, their coach Westphal has them running around like chickens with they heads cut off, they don't have a set offense all they do is just dribble, pick and cut and hope that someone gets open... and this is what frustrates not just Cousins, but other guys like Tyreke as well...
I've seen every one of their games so far, and their offense is the closest thing to gym rat ball you will ever see.... the only guy this offense is perfectly suited is Marcus Thornton cuz he's fckin Marcus Thornton, he is a natural scorer... it's why he's thriving on that team right now

and Jimmer had a good preseason I saw both of his games, but last 3 games he's pissin the shit outta me, all he's been doing is overdribbling and picking up his dribble in the paint getting stuck.... he's looking horrible!

honestly their coach Westphal SUCKS!

King's offense is all iso because they're keep loading on iso players. Paul Westphal is an idiot and need to be fired. On a side note, the Kings commentator are two fucking annoying homer idiots who don't know what the fuck they're on about. It's painful watching Kings home game.

Paul Westphal and Don Nelson... yeah. Somebody tell them it's now 2012 and run and gun don't win shits no more.

Is this for real? Good 'ol Rodman

Dennis Rodman launching topless basketball team for Headquarters NYC - NYPOST.com

Dennis Rodman is bouncing back into basketball — this time as a coach for a topless women’s team he’s launching for Headquarters Gentlemen’s Club, the New York mammary mecca.

The NBA bad boy dreamed up the team after hearing that rival strip joint Rick’s Cabaret had launched a league with former Atlanta Hawk Spud Webb, who runs the Texas Legends, an NBA Development League team. Rodman is even challenging Rick’s Cabaret’s topless team to a charity game.

“I don’t know too many men that don’t like a good-looking woman running up and down around the court,” Rodman told Page Six.

Dennis RodmanRodman, who told us he’s been a Headquarters customer for more than 30 years, is currently scouting for talent. He’ll be holding auditions next week at the jiggle joint for girls over 5-foot-10 to join the team.

“You don’t have to have too much experience, just know how to throw the ball into the hole,” was his sterling advice to hopefuls.

Rodman said he also planned auditioning “players” during his appearance at Huntington, LI, club Paramount last night.

Team members will wear shorts, skimpy shirts and sneakers during games. “They’ll come out in a T-shirt or a tank top, but when the game starts, they’ll go topless,” Rodman boasted.

He launched his team effort after Rick’s Cabaret announced in November that it had formed Rick’s Basketball Association to cheer up forlorn NBA fans during the lockout. Teams popped up in several cities, but the league was disbanded when the lockout ended. Webb is now back at his regular job.

“We stepped aside when the NBA returned,” said a Rick’s spokesman, who added, “We love Dennis . . . His regular table at Rick’s Cabaret is available. We wish Dennis well in coaching another team, but if the RBA was still in existence, we would have made Dennis our commissioner.”

Isnt there a time when he thinks its not going to go in if he keeps on shooting?

I mean 6/28? I would have stopped at 21 or less shots and realize I should do something else for the team to win

^ it's all part of this so called "new breed of pg's" that everyone seems to be riding... very exciting, very athletic, very flashy, relying heavily on their athleticism to do things on the court...
but they're offensive minded which brings flaws like turnovers, truth is they're all hot for a few years but in reality have no longevity in the league, soon as their athleticism starts to fade so will they, it's the simple truth.. it's guys like Rose, Westbrook, Jennings, Wall, etc....
sad part is they'll be riding the pine in their mid 30's if not early 30's, while true cerebral point guards like Chris Paul and Deron Williams will still playing at a high level still very productive the way some of these older true pg's are doing right now (Nash, Kidd, Chauncey, Andre Miller)

give me a John fckin Stockton over a John fckin Wall any day of the week to build a team around, you wanna sell seats in you arena and get TV ratings with Wall, or do you wanna fckin go deep in the playoffs with Stock
