I think 7 games is fair considering his history.

I can't get over the fact his name is Metta World Peace and he goes all ape shit in that play.

gotdang, Bledsoe with a turnover but recovers with a MONSTER block on Willie Greens steal and dunk attempt... kid is nice and healthy playin real good

griffin 30 points and counting, just waiting for CP3 to sub back in and win it again in the 4th

fck Utah I hope Phoenix gets in playoffs, give Nash one last run with the Suns and ship him out to a contender next season, it's the least he deserves.... he's been loyal to that franchise for way too long and they ain't ever done shit as far as moves towards making them serious competitors in the west

Steve keeps saying he wants to stay in Phoenix, but he says he won't stay at a discount price. Phoenix should've traded him to a contender before this past deadline; They would be stupid to sign him at his current value because they plain and simply need to rebuild. Should've traded him for rebuilding pieces...well I guess they could still pull off a sign-and-trade but I doubt they would get nearly as much in return.

Clippers - Memphis match-up locked up for 1st round in the West; home-court advantage still to be determined.

All other match-ups in the West are still to be determined.

Boston-Atlanta match-up locked up for 1st round in the East;

If Orlando wins 1 of their next 2 vs Cha & Memphis they lock up the 6th spot and will face Indiana.
New York and Philly are tied, though NY gets the tie-breaker.
New York plays LAC and Cha.
Philly plays Mil and Det.

yea Steve is definitely done with Phoenix after this year and I'm real happy for him, excited as well that he will be picked up by a contender.

Anyone seen the latest on Dwight, I read the other day now they're reporting he's asking to be traded, wants to be on a new team next season (like there was ever any doubt) buncha desperate idiots running the Magic...
what he did in Orlando this year I think is worse than what LeBron did to Cleveland when he left.... because as coldhearted as it was, LeBron just left straight up no games no gimmicks he kept his mouth shut the whole time until the announcement, but Dwight just been acting like a spoiled kid these last few months, major distraction to the team and organization to the point where everyones performance was clearly affected (except gangster ass Ryan Anderson, dude been ballin his butt off)

^ I hope that Steve doesn't go to Miami for crying out loud lol.. I have a feeling though that he might join the Mavs again and play with Dirk.

^ oh man, someone really fucked up on that back in the day.... was it Cuban from what I remember ? something like he didn't think a skinny white kid from Canada would amount up to jack shit so he shipped him out.....

fck just remembered they still had Finley back then too! when he was still a 20 ppg guy, CUBANNNNNN!

that was the only regret I had when I watched Dirk win his chip, is that Steve wasn't there beside him

Yea, this is what I just read about that entire situation as a refresher

Quote:
After the 2003–04 season, Nash became a free agent. He attempted to negotiate a long-term contract with Cuban, who was paying Walker, Finley, Nowitzki and Jamison nearly $50 million in combined salaries that season. Cuban wanted to build his franchise around the younger Nowitzki and did not want to risk signing the 30-year-old Nash to a long-term deal, and offered Nash a four-year deal worth about $9 million annually, with a fifth year partially guaranteed. The Phoenix Suns on the other hand offered the point guard a six-year, $63 million contract. Nash was reluctant to leave Dallas and returned to Cuban to see if he would match the deal; Cuban did not, and Nash signed for the Suns for the 2004–05 season. The Canadian would go on to win two League MVP awards with Phoenix, and on a 14 June 2006 appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman, Cuban wondered out loud, "... you know Steve's a great guy and I love him to death, but why couldn't he play like an MVP for us?"[21]

SurreyJack, who does the court surfing segments now ? i thought it was only tuesdays, I havent seen any basketball on TV past two seasons since I've been signing up with nba league pass...
but I remember that bald guy Tim was real good on court surfing, he still do it ??

I did try watching that Basketball Jones thing one time and I wanted to throw up, if that's the best basketball show the Score can put on this is a step backwards for canadian basketball, those 2 flannel wearing idiots who have no chemistry, no real basketball knowledge and just try to be funny and goofy to sugar coat it all... ughhh....

Hmmm. What do you think of MWP's comments about his elbow on Harden?

Metta calls it "erratic passion" and "bad timing" as the root of that elbow.

Here's the video from ESPN:

Los Angeles Lakers' Metta World Peace addresses elbow to Oklahoma City Thunder's James Harden - ESPN Los Angeles

^Beating the dead horse.

I don't think he has ill intentions. Ron is not a normal guy. Dude rediscovered his fountain of youth and was on the home floor. Harden also pulled a little shenanigans. Players bumped into each other after dunks all the time to stop celebrations but like he said, just wrong place wrong time and obviously wrong person. He got 7 games and it's well deserved. But the chumps who claimed he should be arrested/ suspended a season or 15+ games are way over the top.

I hope he still have that fire when he came back. He's right about not calling Harden. I think even with all the fuss from the media and the self-righteous BSers, the two dudes gonna have a beer after the season and laughed about it. It takes a lot to plot and actually carry out a plan to deliberately hurt a person.

Jordan is the REASON why they are so horrible every year.....

No American "star power" wants to play in Canada; their only choice is to look towards European players. Jonas Valanciunas looks to be legit. I think he could end up being great....he's developed VERY well and did great last year in the olympics against US competition. Best thing about him is that he isn't a big pussy like Bargnani....

Edit: This is probably a better vid to showcase his talent:

I hope you are right. This "big V" better be as NBA ready as Rubio this year when he came in.
