Just because they lost the series, doesn't make you not an idiot for writing off a series going to game 7.......ANYBODY CAN WIN A GAME 7....It was a tie game going into the 4th quarter....It was anybody's game....had Boston hit a few open 3's or jumpers that they should have hit, it would have easily gone the other way...You can make predictions, but you can't start talking about the next series as if this one is already over, unlesss you have some crystall ball?? If so, please let me know where you got it from so I can start making some huge bets......

Wait, what......You just referred to a guy who is getting triple-doubles a ridiculous amount of times as a one-dimensional player?....Seriously, I hate the Celtics and I love the Heat...but seriously???

wasabisashimi 06-10-2012 11:18 AM

Last time I checked, Hondo is the one that can consistently score on the celtics team. What is this one dimension u speak of? Obviously he doesn't have a shot like Durant or ray, but he has improved his mid range alot this year.

KD/LBJ
RW/DW

Who is going to gaurd Harden when the big 3 of OKC comes on?

I'd predict OKC in 6 based on the 2-3-2. Anyone have the stats of the disadvantaged team winning the championship?

I doubt it will be Wade/WB, Durant/LeBron guarding each other...I'm sure the match-ups will be mixed up with Battier/Sefolosha/Harden/Chalmers....and with the amount of screens these guys set, there will probably be a lot of switches anyway, similar to last night's game between the Celtics/Heat...

411ken 06-10-2012 03:10 PM

This might be a bold move by me but if I were okc id start harden atleast for game 1.
Westbrook harden durant ibaka Perkins. This is the finals after all and winning game 1 is crucial

most likely both teams are going to go small. Like what bballguy said, there will be screens and switches.

If anything I would have battier on durant, james on westbrook and wade is more suited to guard harden

Starting doesn't mean shit....Harden will get his 30+ minutes and Thabo will get his solid minutes for his defensive presence no matter what - starting or not...

Yes I'm definitely aware of that. Just saying that it cud be a good idea to have more Offensive power to start the game.

I'm sure Thabo will still start but if things don't go well early then harden comes in

The Bulls, Lakers, Knicks and Grizzlies are "thought to be interested" in pursuing unrestricted free agent Ray Allen.

LMFAO:

Almost game time folks!!! hoping for an epic game/series

pastarocket 06-12-2012 04:46 PM

NBA Finals, baby! :awwyeah:

G-spec 06-12-2012 04:53 PM

ahhhhhh fck, I love KD, but LeBron eating up Durant both ends of the floor this whole series is gonna be epic and it's really gonna put EVERYTHING into perspective for not just the Haters but everyone else as well....
This is LeBrons coming out party starting tonight...

offcourse I fully expect Durant to have 1 monster game for sure though.....
it's gonna go down historically as these next few years are LeBrons/Wades/Bosh (Late 20's guys) time for chips, and youngings in their early 20's like Thunder, their time will be in a few years....

natural pecking order is natural bro

pastarocket 06-12-2012 04:54 PM

-just heard parts of a good pre-game speech from D-Wade to rally his team mates:

Wade: "Seize the moment. Don't get too high, don't get too low." -sounds like Wade is focussed at the task at hand for game 1.

dachinesedude 06-12-2012 05:00 PM

game on!! I haven't been so excited for a finals for a while

RacingMetro92 06-12-2012 05:39 PM

Dunno who to cheer for. I want to cheer for the Thunder because I hate LeBron (the heat as a team I'm cool with, but that whole Decision shit just pissed me off as if he was the golden child of the NBA). I also want to cheer for the Heat because of the OKC owner stealing the Sonics from Seattle and their owner is a fucking dick too. (if you want to watch a good documentary about it, Sonicsgate goes really in depth).

Did you watch "The Decision?"

Watched the first bit thinking he would make his announcement like a normal presser then take questions. but then i started getting pissed off and flipping back and forth only to find out he was "taking his talents to south beach" at the end of it. I still dont understand why he needed an hour to tell the world where he was going. bosh didnt do that, neither did any other NBA player for that matter.

pastarocket 06-12-2012 06:09 PM

-good start for Miami. D-Wade is keeping it simple on the pick and roll, passing the ball to the open guy, mainly Bosh. -good game so far from Battier and Chalmers. -Heat keeping their turnovers down. -OKC is giving away the ball way too much.

TRDood 06-12-2012 06:13 PM

Heat needs to build more lead in the 3rd. Russel or Harden will take over early 4th and Durant finish game.

pastarocket 06-12-2012 06:24 PM

It feels like LeBron and D-Wade are playing at a comfortable pace in the first half, with Chalmers, Battier, and Bosh providing more of the offense.

-think that LeBron and D-Wade are set to pick up their offensive game in the second half. The Heat are making good defensive adjustments on their switches when guarding OKC players.

-will be interesting to see what coach Brooks will do to adjust his team to Miami's defence.

TRDood 06-12-2012 06:44 PM

Looks like the LBJ sneakers Finals edition can look sick.

Red/Gold? :drool

411ken 06-12-2012 07:00 PM

Exciting game so far. 12 more minutes.

HonestTea 06-12-2012 07:03 PM

COMEON OKC!!!

411ken 06-12-2012 07:38 PM

Winning game 1 is hugeeeeee. Okc okc okc

Durrann 06-12-2012 07:39 PM
