PUPPY 03-19-2012 12:52 AM

probably still mad about fisher being traded

G-spec 03-19-2012 01:41 AM

no actually he's not mad at all, he commented on it earlier and without me having to go find the exact quote it was along the lines of him saying how he isn't mad, but he is sad about it though.

He's not mad because the reality is they needed an upgrade at the PG position and this guy is competitive enough to sacrifice almost anything to win, and that includes Fisher...
but he also revealed how sad it made him for obvious reasons

as far as Kobe's game tonight, i mean I love the guy because he's one of the last real men standing in a league filled with boys, but for FUCKS SAKE ! Bynum had 33 points on 12 for 14 SHOOTING !!!!! he had position right under the hoop all night long and would have could have ended up with 40 if not 50 and obviously a win only if.....
so KOBE you're a fckin dick bro, for real... i understand the whole I wanna win with my bare hands so i can taste it, but fck off man really, no respect for that mentality....

bballguy 03-19-2012 06:58 PM

Wilson Chandler cashed in on a 5-year deal worth $37 mill...$7.4 mill/year.

KuSouL 03-19-2012 07:01 PM

Obviously they are going to look like shit when they traded away their best player and haven't had the returning player even step on the court yet due to injury...

That's like asking if the Nets look like shit when Deron Williams is injured...

KuSouL 03-19-2012 07:29 PM

Milicic sucks...I think Pek has stopped playing too though; I'm not sure if he's reaggravated his injury or if he's just being resting it because they are destroying...I'm not watching so let me know if you know (I have Pek on my fantasy team).

he's totally useless atm ... but i didn't know he was injured cause i was wondering why he's not hustling and kinda limping up and down the court

Yeah, he's had a lingering ankle injury, though it's not thought to be serious....He has been killing it whenever he is playing, despite the injury.

LAKERS: Lakers Video Player

found it for u

bballguy 03-20-2012 09:21 AM

Fisher has no plans to retire and the Heat and Thunder have emerged as the early leaders to sign him.

Edit: Spurs are in the running for his services as well.

Edit: NVM, Spurs are trying to sign Patty Mills instead.

No, Roy had a completely different injury...He had no cartilage in his knees....That's FAR more serious than Curry's lingering ankle injury...In all honesty, the "lingering" of Curry's injury is most likely the Warriors organization's fault because they have been rushing him back sooner than he's needed...And they are too stupid to realize it so they keep doing it over and over again...For fucks sake, just shut the guy down for the rest of the season! Not only are they going to ruin their franchise, they are going to kill the guy's career!!

he was thinking of a comeback too. i'm like - how can you come back when you have no cartilage in your knees....you can't grow any back, it's degenerative. i guess they can shoot that fluid in to his knee joint to coat it to act like cartilage every few years....

bballguy 03-20-2012 02:33 PM

It looks like Fisher is close to signing with the Thunder.

Kobe is displaying some of the shittiest and most selfish basketball we have ever witnessed. He will run this team into the fucking ground if he keeps shooting 30 fucking percent while taking over 25 shots every game while Bynum and Pau are shooting above 60% and only getting 10-15 shots per game.

G-spec 03-20-2012 09:35 PM

^ Alpha male till I die mentality... just like Jordan...

except Kobe is NOT Jordan, and he will not have 40+ point games at age 38 like Jordan did, and all he's proving to the Kobe vs Jordan observers just how much better Jordan was at age 33, I mean he was still CLEARLY in basically what you can easily call a prime skill wise, maybe not athletically, but skill wise early and mid 30's were Jordans prime...

and to see Kobe already beginning his downfall when Jordan was in his prime just makes me respect Jordan that much more

and Fisher *shake head JPG* GO FUCKING AWAY SERIOUSLY

He is honestly ruining his legacy...This has got to be the most pathetic and selfish display of basketball I have ever seen - EVER!

If I was Bynum, I would be fucking raging right now...I honestly dont' think there is any question that Bynum is the best center in the league; I would take him over Dwight without question right now, and here he is, patiently putting up with this shit. Somebody needs to step to Kobe's punk-ass...Somebody put Phil Jackson on the line.

TRDood 03-20-2012 11:27 PM

Down 2 pts with about 1:27 left. Worls Peace was open for a 3. Kobe drives and takes a off balance fadeaway. :rukidding:

Still a Kobe fan but he has to share the ball.

HOUSTON -- On four straight possessions, Ramon Sessions showed why the Los Angeles Lakers brought the point guard in at the trade deadline to essentially replace former captain Derek Fisher.

A driving bank-shot, a pass that put Pau Gasol on the free-throw line, a made jumper and, finally, a spoon-fed layup for Gasol. In a flash, Sessions had helped put the Lakers up by 12 with 6:41 remaining in the fourth quarter against the Houston Rockets. The newest member of the purple and gold was doing whatever he wanted via the high screen-and-roll and was about to lead his team to a runaway victory.

But from that point on, the ball would rarely be in Sessions' hands.

With the Rockets trailing by just four, Kobe Bryant checked in at the 4:23 mark and proceeded to miss a 3-pointer, a jumper and a fadeaway, and had the ball stolen away from him over the course of the next two minutes, during which Houston took the lead for good. While Kobe did recover to hit three awe-inspiring jumpers to close the game, the damage had already been done. Houston had sealed a 107-104 victory at the Toyota Center. The decision to abandon Sessions, who finished with 14 points on 6-for-9 shooting, was baffling.

Bryant dazzled the locals with an assortment of moves early on, going behind his back on one occasion to set up a left-handed jumphook. When he spun baseline to split two Rockets, the crowd got a taste of the greatness they so desperately craved. It was a reminder of why people come to watch.

His play at the end of the game, however, showed why allowing Kobe to be Kobe might not always be the best game plan.

Rookie Chandler Parsons, who stopped Kevin Durant earlier this season, played great defense on Bryant to fuel the win. Even Bryant, who finished with 29 points on 10-for-27 shooting, took notice. Begrudgingly.

"Oh, come on," Bryant said when asked about Parsons' defense.

"I love him though, I do. I think he's a terrific young player," Bryant continued. "I think he has a really bright future and I don't say that a lot about a lot of people."

Parsons was the hero, but had the Lakers just stayed with what had been working, that probably wouldn't have been the case.
People don't realize how good Sessions is....The guy is honestly a beast...He simply gets the job done. If Kobe takes a little step back, Sessions is honestly a triple double threat every single night.
