This is LeBrons coming out party starting tonight...

offcourse I fully expect Durant to have 1 monster game for sure though.....
it's gonna go down historically as these next few years are LeBrons/Wades/Bosh (Late 20's guys) time for chips, and youngings in their early 20's like Thunder, their time will be in a few years....

natural pecking order is natural bro

Wasn't "hugeeeee" for OKC last series...? You're not in trouble until you lose at home; OKC simply protected home court advantage tonight...

-impressive game 1 for Durant and Westbrook. -even with Miami players contesting shots from Durant, it's almost impossible to stop this guy when he releases his shot at such a height. Miami defence just could not stop Westbrook from attacking the basket with layups in the second half.

Sefolosha's defence is suffocating LeBron's offensive game, as seen in the fourth quarter. -wanna see a entertaining, close Finals between these teams but Miami has to step up the energy on both ends of the floor in order to make each game a battle to the end.

OKC is playing good team basketball right now. -remembered seeing Durant and Westbrook making good passes in the fourth quarter to the open guy, such as Collison for the easy dunk.

-wonder what adjustments Spoelstra will make heading into game 2.

Heat did get a look of good looks late in the game but they simply weren't dropping....they went cold...

That's the truth right there. Say if Heat get the split, the next three are in Miami, and the tide quickly change. OKC had a great shooting night, it will be interesting to see what happens if they ain't shooting as well as they did. OKC is just sheer athleticism and speed, something the Celtics were not minus Rondo.

G-spec 06-12-2012 08:08 PM

fck, ok now that Durants monster game is outta the way....

let's go LeBron, it's your time bitch, now or never
and I've almost given up on Wade... he looks like a 35 year old out there....

I think the Heat need Phil Jackson next year, Spoelstra is at the end of the day orchestrating the majority of the plays they run and other assignments as well.... he has never done a very good job at it and never will. I realize Pat Riley hired and contracted him for the next few years because he put time in and he's Riley's right hand man, but Riley fuck if you want some sort of control of a team without being a head coach, either coach the fucking team yourself, or give it up to a real coach, can't have it both ways man it's not gonna work when it comes to winning championships.

OKC also plays good defence, especially their defensive rebounds and steals. -looking at the box score showed 33 boards in their own zone, and 5 steals. The Thunder showed the hustle in grabbing more rebounds than the Heat.

If Miami is gonna win game 2, they are gonna have to get more easy buckets on the fast break and make defensive adjustments to slow down OKC. -slow down Westbrook so that he is forced to make jump shots instead of attacking the basket at will.

Waiting for people to bring up LeBron 4th quarter comments :troll:

Tonight's game looks like any other game with LAL and SAS. OKC playing with normal pace up until the 3rd and explode coming out of the 4th.

Let's hope the Heat can silent KD and RW in game 2. Harden didn't even do much this game 1 and OKC won with a pretty good margin!

What's with Bosh trying to hit from long range? :fulloffuck:

Ilagon 06-12-2012 10:12 PM

Do you know why Lebron didn't go to college? Cuz he couldn't pass the finals! :troll:

Ha, in all honesty I really want the Heat to win it this year, Lebron has worked too damn hard to come up short again. And Phil Jackson coming to the Heat is highly unlikely, considering his past rivalry with Riley. But then again, Florida has some nice retirement communities!

dachinesedude 06-12-2012 10:32 PM

i think if the heat lose again this year, they'll have to sign steve nash lol

G-spec 06-12-2012 11:03 PM

Phil Jackson comment was just wishful thinking on my part...

and Steve Nash coming over to the Heat... wow, imagine Wade and LeBron working freely off the ball with a PG who draws the defense's attention with every single dribble of the ball.... shieeeeeeeeeet

youtube - like mike trailer - Lil Bow Wow - YouTube

It's "Like Mike" mixed with "Space Jam", and looks 100x worse....

This shit better not make it to theatres....

G-spec 06-13-2012 10:26 PM

They're bound to win at least 3 chips together this Heat team, IF they get rid of Spoelstra, soon as they realize that's the main obstacle should be seeing multiple chips from this group.... maybe an addition or two as far as the roster goes as well, dump some guys and bring some new faces in ....

Curry, Miller are both gone for sure end of this season, Turiaf and Pittman should go as well, dumping all those guys they should at least be able to get one quality big man banger and Joel Anthony needs to stay to play a backup center role for that guy, he's a decent starter, but would definitely be a solid backup.

TRDood 06-13-2012 11:07 PM

You mean Dwight Howard to the Heat? Le Big 4? :troll:

Superman doesn't have a ring right?

Still don't know who to cheer for. LBJ should have a ring after falling short a couple of times in the Finals. Bosh? No. The rest of the Heat? Probably not.
OKC as a team works hard to succeed. Just that Westbrook annoys the shit out of me. +1 to Fisher and Perkins getting another ring. Rivals before but same team now. :considered:

Obsideon 06-13-2012 11:43 PM

I would have been happy if LBJ won it with Cleveland, but yes I'm still sore about him wussing out to join Wade and Bosh. Jordan said it best, he could never see himself joining Magic or Bird just to win a ring.
So I'm rooting for OKC, all their success stories have been drafted together to play, not manipulated by Pat Riley.

Sir_Loin 06-14-2012 06:52 PM

Perkins is great against certain teams Lakers, Magic etc teams with a traditional center that plays in the paint. Against this Heat team that plays Bosh or Haslem at the 5 and Lebron at the 4 Perkins is a weak link. The Heat are getting away with playing Battier, along side Lebron and Bosh in the front court.

Mike Oxbig 06-14-2012 06:56 PM

Actually i want OKC to lose because seattle got robbed

TRDood 06-14-2012 07:19 PM

Durant 4th quarter showing up. Where's LBJ? :troll:

Drive into the paint, let Durant foul out. :lawl:

Sir_Loin 06-14-2012 07:52 PM

Real time it didn't look like Lebron fouled KD but in slow mo replay it looked like Lebron got away with the contact on Durant. Still not an excuse Heat went into game 2 and played like it was a must win going up by as much as 18. OKC tried to come back but wasn't able to do it, we now have a series 1-1 with three straight games in Miami.

Porschedog 06-14-2012 07:59 PM

^ Yeah that last shot by Durant definitely looked like a foul by James. Nonetheless, Shane Battier is stepping up big time!
