You DO realize being down 3 and being down 4 is a HUGE difference right? It turns a 1 possession game into a 2 possession game with 6 seconds left.
Not even factoring the whole mental aspect of it. Being down 3 you can take a regular shot whereas with 4 points you HAVE to try and draw contact while taking a 3pt shot which is significantly more difficult.

Game 2, true they did get the ball back through a steal but one would like to think if the elbow was called there would be time for one of the greatest minds in basketball (Poppovich) to draw up a set play rather than the wild sequence of Ginobili tossing it to Patty for the rushed 3 when only down 1.

Anyways Spurs getting blown out. Sadness. This might be The Legendary Duncan's last game. :(

Euro7r 05-12-2016 06:21 PM

Curry vs Durant. Gonna be a good series.

13 point game... http://i62.tinypic.com/2br4wj.png

Did we watch Tim Duncan play his last game? Mad respect to a classy all star player. Props to gentleman Tim for playing the game with class, without fanfare.

I hope he plays one more season.

roflwaffle604 05-12-2016 07:03 PM

Gee, who woulda thunk it would have been anything other than a SAS/GSW WCF?!

Porschedog 05-12-2016 07:19 PM

This may be Timmy D's last game :okay:

if you consider this shot selection, his shooting percentage is actually very respectable :lol

on a serious note though, if you guys notice his footwork it is absolutely amazing, has to be one of the tops in the league... helps compensate for the fact that he's not fast/strong

u srs m8?

ooh game 7!

pastarocket 05-14-2016 08:38 AM

What happened to the Raptors defence in game 6?? They cannot let that Euro dude Dragic attack the basket at will.

D-Wade and the Heat are gonna be tough to play despite the loud fans at the ACC in game 7.

DeRozan and Lowry provided the offence but no other player scored double digits in points.

Game 7 is gonna be very interesting. :considered:

LeBron and the Cavs are well rested and probably laughing at this long and tough series. :lawl:

swiftshift 05-14-2016 09:13 AM

Will be an epic game 7..
Kind of want to see a Canadian team make it..

Obsideon 05-14-2016 06:13 PM

Well there is only 1 team so the odds are not in our favour lol

EDawg 05-14-2016 06:18 PM

GSW-OKC will be an entertaining series

cheering for the raps in Game 7 but East finals will be very interesting regardless of who advances... if raps win, it'll be no.1 seed vs. no.2 seed, and if miami wins, we will get to see lebron vs. wade

Euro7r 05-15-2016 02:29 PM

Cavs vs Raps Eastern Finals. As much as I want Raps to advance to the finals, Lowry/DeRozan shooting, so damn terrible and inconsistent. Gonna be tough to hang with the Cavs...

european 05-16-2016 09:35 AM

I'm still cheering them.

go raptors!

People actually think the Raptors have a chance vs Cleveland? :drunk:

So disappointed that the Heat loss. The way Miami was playing, they would've made Cleveland work a bit for the series. Now they're just going to cruise to the Finals with Toronto self imploding for the most part.

dachinesedude 05-16-2016 10:45 AM

really want the raps to beat the cavs but that's not happening unfortunately, im calling sweep

GLOW 05-16-2016 12:07 PM

maybe lebron and kyrie eat some bad sushi or something for 4 games straight :lol

Mike Oxbig 05-16-2016 12:39 PM

Raptors fan here.

Cavs in 6 tho cause DeMar and Kyle arent going to show up in all games

Verdasco 05-16-2016 01:01 PM

cavs in 4 or 5 probably

wonder what the are odds are for the raptors to win... if its good enough i will bet on it

pastarocket 05-16-2016 01:14 PM

I am also cheering for the Raptors but the Cavs are just too strong, and so well rested for the Eastern conference finals.

If DeRozan and Lowry can perform consistently, they should be able to get their buckets because Cavs are not that strong defensively compared to the Heat and Pacers.

Who's gonna play defence on the Cavs besides LeBron? Kyrie?? :fuckthatshit:
Maybe Tristan Thompson?

It comes down to defense, especially some of the matchups like Carroll vs. LeBron.

I think the Raps will put more pressure on Cleveland's 3 point shooters than ATL. They're not gonna raining 3's against Toronto like in the series vs. Atlanta.

Raps gotta do a better job of grabbing offensive rebounds to have a legit chance of pulling off a huge upset. Bismack Byombo has to put the smackdown in the paint and grab that ball. Patterson, T. Ross, and Corey Joseph need to step up their game.

I love it when Byombo does that Usain Bolt pose after he makes a big dunk on the opposing team. :lawl:

Cavs in 6 games. This series would have been closer if Valenciunas was playing. T.O. is gonna play harder on defence but is gonna run out of gas in the end.

swiftshift 05-16-2016 01:57 PM

Today will be a good series,
OKC VS GS!

Thinking
OKC will win Game 1.
But GS will take series 4-2..

HonestTea 05-16-2016 01:58 PM

GSW in 6
Cavs in 5

iVTEC_Do_You? 05-16-2016 05:30 PM

GSW in 7, it's gonna be a firefight with some big guns :awwyeah:
Cavs in 4/5, just don't see the Raptors standing a chance, especially with DeRozan averaging like 35FG%
