There doesn't seem to be many competitive first round playoff matchups in the west. GS vs. Houston. I pick Warriors winning in 5. Spurs vs. Grizzlies. Spurs in 5 games. OKC vs. Mavericks. OKC in 5 games. Clippers vs. Trailblazers. Clippers in 5 games. -Lillard and McCollum have to go into beast mode in order for this series to go beyond 5 games. |
Kobe is good and all, but Messi is better. |

These are completely different sports. -not a valid comparison. |
Ofcourse it's not a valid comparison, lol I was just trolling son. Take a chill pill. I don't follow NBA so I don't know how big of a following Kobe had, but I would imagine it be around the same magnitude as Messi's. Still gotta give respect to Kobe. |
Kobe killed it the last 5 minutes of the 4th quater.. |

Warriors in 4. Houston has no heart, Dwight sucks. Spurs in 4, Memphis is missing their top 3 players in Conley, Allen and Gasol. Spurs will want to put them away ASAP to rest their players, all business. OKC in 7. Dallas can still put up a fight. Blazers in 6 - I do not like the Clippers, I don't like any of the players. The fanboy in me rooting for the cold blooded assassin Lillard and co to take over! For the first time in a long time the East looks more interesting in the first round. Cavs vs Detroit - Cavs will take it in 5 but Detroit should be able to put up a good fight every game. Raps vs Pacers - This will be a very interesting series, biggest key being will this be the Rapchokes of old? If they play like they have all regular season this will be Raps game to lose. Raps in 5. Heat vs Hornets - I am pegging the Heat to the the darkhorse of the east, they are more dangerous than they seem. Heat in 5. Hawks vs Celtics - This will be a boring but gritty series. This might be the most closely contested matchup. Celtics in 6. |
kobe with 60, warriors with 73, what a night for nba fans! |

Picking the raps to upset the cavs in the east finals!! |
What do you think about the NBA selling sponsorships on player's jerseys starting in the 2017 season? Those greedy ass owners. :lawl: Will we see a Rogaine logo on LeBron's jersey one day? :troll: NBA to begin selling jersey sponsorships in 2017-18 | NBA.com NEW YORK (AP) — The NBA will begin putting sponsorship logos on player uniforms in 2017-18, a move that could generate at least $100 million annually and a step that the NFL, Major League Baseball and NHL have yet to take. The three-year trial was approved Friday by NBA owners and will take effect when the league's contract with Nike begins. The patches will appear on the front left of the jersey, opposite Nike's logo, and measure about 2 1/2 by 2 1/2 inches. Logos appear on international and MLS soccer jerseys, and many athletes in individual sports wear their sponsors' attire in competition. Commissioner Adam Silver had said going with logos was inevitable because of the potential to add revenue. WNBA teams already have logos, and NBA clubs were wearing them on practice jerseys. "Jersey sponsorships provide deeper engagement with partners looking to build a unique association with our teams and the additional investment will help grow the game in exciting new ways," Silver said in a statement. "We're always thinking about innovative ways the NBA can remain competitive in a global marketplace, and we are excited to see the results of this three-year trial." Silver called the plan an "experiment" and said it was hard to estimate how much revenue it would generate because teams would be responsible for their own sales, and some could decide not to participate. But he said it could be $100 million annually. Major League Soccer teams began selling jersey sponsorships in 2007, and they generate more than $6 million annually in revenues. Adidas enters the final year of his contract as the NBA's official outfitter next season. When Nike takes over, its logo will become the first on league's jerseys - except for those of the Charlotte Hornets, who are owned by Michael Jordan. The logo of his Jordan Brand, a subsidiary of Nike, could be on the Hornets' instead. The sponsor patch will be adjusted to fit the dimensions of each sponsor's logo. It won't appear in retail versions of the jerseys, but clubs can sell jerseys with sponsor patches in their team stores |
I don't mind it if it's small and on the corner. However if it starts to turn into an eyesore it will be annoying. http://assets3.sportsnet.ca/wp-conte...engler-cup.jpg |

Game 1 blowouts by 30+ pts with some of these series. Only ones are remotely close are Bst/Atl and Det/Clev so far, hope it stays this way to make playoffs interesting. Not fun watching these blowout games... |
teams will adjust after the game blowouts lol boston took a huge loss in losing avery bradley for this series... |
Portland let me down last night, had a small point spread on that game :( |
Good thing raptors finally won a playoff game. At least their mental state of mind didnt collapse. Lets see if they could steal a game of two in indiana. |
Wow. Dallas upset at OKC, what a wild finish. |
Drama ... Raps bench their best player for the entire 4th and win the game. http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/a...IFSoupcom1.gif |
