I have the old green Terayon from like 10 years ago
My IP is 24...

So what do I do?
Where is the nearest place (from Burnaby) I can get my modem swapped?
How do I contact them? Which email address?
Why do you get a new IP address?

My IP is still 24.xxxx.
IP doesn't affect your download speeds at all, at least it shouldn't

Try again at night and reset your modem (Unplug for 30secs and plug back in outlet)

i heard from the friend that shaw has problems with power boost

not a problem for users though
it just powerboost and doesn't disconnect itself

well bowerboost says it's a temp boost to start things... it probably lasts about the same amount of time as the speed test lasts... meaning the tests are fake. you can get that speed for a couple secs but not continuous

dunno about that man im getting speeds around 900kb/s and 1mb/s downloading on bt and im on highspeed

extream I claims 15Mbps. which is about 1.9MB/s so you are getting the rated amount.

some of the tests are upwards of 30Mbps. which is about 3.8 MB / s, double the rated speed.
