Water marks/stains on Volk

I've read the other thread about cleaning volks.. my situation is slightly different from that guy because he is trying to get brake dust off..

my wheels have water marks on them
i tried using meguair's car wash with water but it didnt get them off.. in fact i think it got worse after that (although i made sure the wheels were dry after the wash)

im going to try p21 gel - just ordered from icanpolish
but does anyone know of a better way to get rid of the marks?

Give 50/50 Water/Isopropyl Alcohol a shot, if not try 50/50 Water/vinegar. *I assume no responsibility if damaged further* That said, give it a shot, good luck. Try the wheel cleaner first though.

what kinda finish is the rim. if its magnesium you might be out of luck once the colour changes finish .... Oo theres no saving them...

but any other finish use the p21 or a light cutting polish should get rid of the unsightly stains.
