holy shit, when i read that all survived i was like wth? looks impossible based on how the plane split for all passengers to survive. rip to the 9, that must have been terrifying

The engines failed at around 300 ft and the plane fell right from the sky so the flaps settings are irreverent because the pilots didn't have an enough time to go through emergency procedures.

i'm curious to where you got the information that a dual engine failure has occurred because it is highly unlikely that it two engines would fail.

many witnesses reported a pitch up attitude and given by the impact, the aircraft was going slow which might suggest some kind of stall.

engine failure at 300feet would certainly have given enough lift to glide to the airport. remember usually pilots cut off at 100ft and let it sink into the ground effect.
