Halo Top Creamery is celebrating Canada's unofficial kick-off to summer by making the infamous May Long Weekend traffic more bearable with the first ever 'Halo Top Drive-Thru.' The two drive-thrus will pop up in Toronto and Vancouver at 3 p.m. EST on Friday, May 17 to offer the ideal treat to help make it through that bumper-to-bumper traffic. Fans can get their hands on one free pint of Halo Top® until supplies last. There will be 10,000 pints available in a variety of dairy and non-dairy flavours at the two locations, complete with spoons to dig right in.

...

Canadians that can't make it to a 'Halo Top Drive-Thru' in-person are invited to visit the 'Halo Top Virtual Drive-Thru' on halotop.ca/drive-thru at 3 p.m. EST. The first 5,000 Canadians to 'pass' through online will be sent a coupon for a free pint of Halo Top.

Drive-Thru Details:

In case you missed it, pints of Halo Top are being given away for FREE, no purchase necessary.
Two Physical Locations:
Toronto at 306 Front St. West, from 3-8 p.m. (local time) or while pints last.
Vancouver at 688 Cambie St., from 12-6 p.m. (local time) or while pints last.
Looking for the quickest route out of town? Log onto Waze and keep an eye out for two Halo Top pins highlighting the drive-thru locations to make a quick pint pit stop on your way out.
The two drive-thrus will sample a variety of flavours, including: Birthday Cake, Candy Bar, Mint Chip, Oatmeal Cookie, Peanut Butter Swirl and Sea Salt Caramel.
Don't worry non-dairy fans! There will be two vegan-friendly flavours available: Non-Dairy Birthday Cake and Non-Dairy Toasted Coconut.
No car? No problem! Cyclists and pedestrians are welcome as well.
There are certain things you should share, but Halo Top is not one of them. Each individual who comes to the drive-thru will receive their own pint to enjoy.

Fucking retarded that they are not honouring family plans. There is a huge thread on it on their forums.
I am one of them. Support literally said I should cancel my current pack, sign up single premium then cancel and go back on Family.
Not even worth my time and kinda rubs me the wrong way.

Involves some work but it's all free:

App store -> Google Opinion Rewards

download and set up basic info.

Go about your daily life and based on your location it'll pop up with a 2-3 question survey. One of my surveys this morning was asking if I've been to Esso lately and when a) yesterday b) last week c) last month d) never.
I filled up on Sunday... so B.
How did you pay a) credit card b) debit c) went there but didn't buy anything.
I paid with my debit card. survey over.
Credits me 28 cents to my app store account. It's not much but I only got this app 2 weeks ago and it's already gotten me a couple games for free. My friend who showed it to me has been buying a lot of ebooks with it.
Not bad for doing nothing. walk through a mall and pop in a bunch of stores and let it think that you've been shopping around and it'll pop up more surveys

sonick 05-16-2019 12:18 PM

^ I've used it for a few years and have about a $40 balance. Shitty thing is that the credits expire after 1 year so you can never build up a huge balance.

I use it for books, movies, etc. Why hoard it?

sonick 05-16-2019 01:11 PM

tbh I never have anything I need to buy from the Play store. I've spent it on some games and app subscriptions but that's pretty much it. I don't read on my phone and have netflix and other means for movies.

FN-2199 05-16-2019 01:16 PM

Google Rewards is great. I've never had to use my own money for anything on the Play Store. I've rented movies that weren't on Netflix, and I've upgraded several apps to "Premium" to get rid of ads-- all because of this info hoarding app.

Google can take all of my info if it gets me free shit :drunk:

Just found out about this app 2 months ago, made 32 so far but dunno what to spend it on. Only spent a few bucks on random games.

bobbinka 05-16-2019 05:13 PM

wtf, i never knew the credits expired. My balance keeps going up, so i've never questioned it. Time to spend

jing 05-16-2019 05:25 PM

Used to get near daily surveys on my old phone. After I upgraded, not a single one. Nothing else has changed, lifestyle wise. Would be nice to get some free credit again.

I've got a coupon code for $10 off at ToysRUs I won't use, total purchase must be over $50 before tax, valid on regular and sale items but not clearance or a few special brands.

sorry for the late response, but i've upgraded my phone as well and realized the surveys were still going to my old phone. try removing the app from your old phone if you still have it.

if it helps, i've also went through google map location settings and unticked my old phone for activity.

i started to get surveys on my new phone.
