If you sue them after youve received your card then $25 gets taken off your settlement lol. Also not guaranteed b/c Loblaw can limit the cards that go out and havent specified a cap yet. Also has to be used for food products only - cant be redeemed for gas, tobacco, etc.

If you bought bread from them, then you're good to go. Most people....... okay, I take that back, some people would feel guilty applying for it when they damn right know they're just trying to get the 25 bucks for nothing.

I buy the Harvest Bread from No Frills often, when they go on sale for $2.00 (good to freeze).

And.......... I'm only going to apply once.

Matsuda 01-08-2018 08:58 PM

Is it one per household? my wife and I both applied

Save On is offering $25 to rewards members even though they weren't involved in the bread price fixing.

(you can donate your $25 to local food bank)

The company has created a website where More Rewards cardholders can sign up to receive a $25 rebate electronically. Registration closes April 30, 2018. The website is www.morerewards.ca/25

Eligible customers who register will receive an email, starting February 1, 2018, which will allow them to load the offer directly to their More Rewards account after completing a few easy steps.

Then, their next transaction over $25 before taxes will result in an immediate credit of $25 off their grocery bill, right there at the checkout. At that point, customers will also have the option, if they choose to, of directing the value of this credit instead, to their local food bank.

To be eligible for this offer:

Customers must have had an active More Rewards card before December 31, 2017
More Rewards cardholders who do not have an online account will need to set one up
Customers must be over the age of majority
When registering, customers must acknowledge that they purchased commercial bread from Save-On-Foods sometime in the past 14 years.
The rebate will not be available for use for tobacco, alcohol, prescriptions or lottery products and will be limited to one per household and if not used, will expire at the end of 2018.

Good for them................

I'll be donating that 25 bucks to the Food Bank. No problem there. It's money that wouldn't have come my way and it means that those in need of it will be getting it. I urge all RS members to do the same.

7-Eleven free day today only with app - free San Pelligrino sparkling beverage. I went to the location on Canada Way and Smith Ave. No deposit or tax, either. Anyway, I didn’t know SP had pomegranate and orange flavour. Damn! I love Pom. As usual, get it before noon as they always run out of freebies before then. Although, I remember getting free ice cream in the summer at like 4:00 pm.

At first glance I thought this was some random confessional in the middle of a post about 7-11 beverages.

racerman88 01-17-2018 09:17 AM

It's live now

We at Save-On-Foods had no knowledge of, nor were we involved in, this illegal activity.

One of our competitors who has admitted guilt is providing a $25 shopping incentive to their customers. We know that you, as our valued More Rewards customer, could have been impacted with higher bread prices. So we’re making it easy for you to receive our own $25 offer * and ensure that you’re signed up for even more great offers and information.

And in keeping with our commitment to supporting those less fortunate, we’ll be giving you the option to easily re-direct this $25 to your local food bank when you get to the store.

To complete the steps required to have this offer loaded directly to your More Rewards card you will need to log into your existing online account or create a new online account.

Perfect, gotta love a free $25.00

MG1 02-01-2018 11:08 AM

Thanks.

I got an e-mail from them. The 25 bucks is loaded onto my card. Now all I have to do is go into the store and give that money to the food bank. Apparently, it's quite easy and painless. Giving back. And, to people who need it. Twenty years ago, I could have used it, that's for sure.

MSREE 02-01-2018 12:45 PM

^ about how long did it take to get the $25 loaded onto your card? I had to register our card online.

I’m here at a 7-Eleven and they don’t even carry it. And, it disappeared from the app. Like WTF? Oh wells. Not even an apology or reason as to why, lol.

MG1 02-28-2018 08:41 AM

It’s a lie and a waste of time, gulolol.
