Darton Sleeved B18C1 running a built type R head... Manley Rods, Arias pistons 85mm, Full Race top mount with dual 38mm wastegates with a Borg Warner S366 or S372 I haven't made my mind up on what turbo to run yet. I really want to keep my car streetable and not to peaky but we will see. I've seen good numbers on the S366 and the spool time is very decent. I have everything but the turbo. I have the cash for it just need to make up my fucking mind haha. Problem is I work out of town so the time I have to work on my car is fairly limited. I'm shooting for 450whp on pump gas and then with a race tune no less than 600 on race gas.

I wasn't hatin on your car, was just curious how you were planning on reaching that VERY ambitious goal. If you are planning to be in the 10's with drag radials, I wish you lots of luck. Your biggest hurdle is going to be your 60', which is the achilies heel of all FWD whether there is an H on the front or not.

don't worry, berz is a pretty heavy guy. all that weight will help keep the front end down.

We always have a little rivalry going on between all the makes and models when it comes to racing. Its all just in fun so don't get offended when it does come up, cause it will... ;)

We also have a very serious side too when it comes to helping guys acheive their goals. I don't know how much experience you have in racing, but if you plan on making that much power, you'll be joining the "try to keep things from breaking" club like us.

100-300 pulls are for fast cars , 1/4 mile is for fast drivers in quick cars. Unless it's a top fuel rail or similar :p Then theyre just fucking FAST

I've heard Geby's car has been pretty reliable so far. Went down for a rotary rebuild once, and once for a new tranny. Both of which had LOTS of daily driven KM on them. I'd say 300 is realistic for this car, as my stock hatch will bang off 265 (elect. limited) without thinking twice.

300km/h is unrealistic for most cars. thats 186mph. how many cars from the factory do you see capable of speeds that high? and its not just about power, its aero mixing a low CD with high enough downforce to keep the car on the road, and of course, gearing. and that being said, just because it makes the power, doesnt mean it should be going that fast either. and to add to that, how well will things like 20 year old wheel bearings hold up at speeds double what they were designed for, etc.

the regular corvette cant even do 190mph with 430hp and the Z06 tops out at 196mph with 505hp and the much lighter ZR1 takes an additional 133hp over the Z06 to go 10mph faster.

a stock 1993 RX-7 would do 260 km/h, add 200 plus hp with improved aerodynamics and larger wheel/tire package and 300 is achievable.

I've been through a couple motors already and this is my final ditch at going fast lol. I've been racing for a long long time so this time everything is being done the best way I know how. I've been close to 12's on shitty street tires with chrome 17" rims and full interior and sub box with my old setup and that was only in the mid 200whp range. Ran a 14.2 bone stock NA B16. 13.6 with that same B16 but turbo and with Blown ringlands and a leaky wastegate. All on street tires. Here is 13.9 check out all that smoke haha That motor let go shortly after that night.
