I had problems with not being able to run low boost, the high boost was fine till after the races and at the dyno.

Well got my motor pretty much all together now.. just waiting on my mounts and my ATI damper and I'm good to go... should be putting it in the car on Friday if all goes well :D

Most of them run out of gears and steam around 80mph.

I believe Zumbo's would lay a smack down on those two in the videos aswell, as it's not stock and fuel injected?

only thing that bugs me is when guys come on here trying to act big for their e-buddies spouting off stuff that is not actually true. Mike was always, and will always be faster than Tom was no matter how you look at it. ;)

my whole point is, if a car always wins at 1 altitude, why will it suddenly lose at a lower altitude? especially on a track with better prep when the cars biggest ham-string is traction...

I'll let you in on a little secret... he was running full bias ply DOT slicks not drag radials, his engine is 2.0L

"DOT" it was a grooved street tire with a nice soft compound

I don't run full "race slicks" either then... mine are Hoosier Quicktime Pro DOT bias ply equivalent to Tom`s Racemaster DOT bias ply slicks.

Either way we look at it. I'm running a 7.5" tread width tire on a FWD chassis. Shawn's running what, a 9-10" width RWD? Both tires being DOT legal with the tread design with similar compounds as their slicks, my bias plys do not have the same compound as their slicks. From a launch, at this point Mike's car will always be faster unless the teg gets some real slicks and actually launches well. In the end, we'll never find out. I know what the car can do on slicks, everyone else does. No point in argueing it. And I'm sorry but Shawn, you have NO idea that that motor is stock at all. You didn't put the motor together, you are just assuming these things because you had Enhanced install it for you and they figured it was a stock engine when they ordered it. For all we know, it could be modded, or it could very well be stock.

I built my car to beat everybody, for the most part I did. So in the end I'm still happy with the outcome. It takes alot of power to run 141mph. With the weight of the car, the power it makes, and if it had the traction dialed in, it would run low 10's with every other honda in it's current state.

This thread is WHO IS the fastest!! Not who could be the fastest with such and such...Yah i did beat TOM but i dont care im not gonna bench race on here and say what i COULD of done. IF thats the case i WAS running actual street tires from walmart AND a completely STOCK motor with 240,000kms.. SO YES with SLICKS AND a built motor and , I/M,TB Etc i could be DEEP into the 10's but im not so oh well...:D
