you raise an interesting point. i have an ingenious, completely original plan for that.

from the looks of their culture, it seems that their society is in turmoil. their gov't is running a mock, killing innocent space civilians for little reasons and causing crimes to alienity, and i suspect they have weapons of mass destruction.

so, my plan to the fine citizens of earth, after the US economy recovers, is to invade the moon thereafter. we should not only clear the moon of any possible mass destructive weapons, but establish a new alien gov't in their wake. this process should be quick and easy, taking only 1 year at most

So we lose power. What's the problem?

Toronto and the Eastern Seaboard had that blackout. So you live on candles and have to throw out food in your freezer for a few days.

Anything that was off at the time (like your car) would still work.

Panic anyone?
