New - Canon T1i I don't believe my eyes 50D sensor with HD for 799$ US for BODY ONLY! http://www.dpreview.com/news/0903/09...noneos500d.asp |
this is something attractive.. but must save for 5dMK2 |
|
wow, but only 20fps video?! thats gay with aids... :( |

well there goes my xsi ... its now old technology ahhaha this camera only has a higher mp and video capabilities from the xsi ... anymore differences |
hmmmm.... maybe time to upgrade my XT |
just saw the review on gizmodo above 1600 it has quite a bit of noise comparing to the 5D http://cache.gawker.com/assets/image...1i_ISOcomp.jpg http://i.gizmodo.com/5182772/canon-e...yline=true&s=i |
^^^ Well, of course it's going to have more noise - what do you expect? The 5D mkII has half the pixel density of the T1i sensor, and larger micro-lenses. |

I'll test it as soon as I get my grubby hands on one next month! |
|
The 50D has more noise than the 40D though.. If this continues in the same tradition the T1i will have more noise than the XSi. |

Anyway, I prefer my 40D with 6.5fps vs. 3.4fps., less noise, etc. Best upgrade I've done so far. |
smth is hong4r for "something". |

i would have thought 30fps to be a bare minimum for high def video to help with motion... ah well! |
It's 30fps on 720p mode which i think is still great for a DSLR, depends what your filming... The price is so great for a camera with all these options, I was going to upgrade to the 50D, still might because not impressed with the speed of the T1i (3.4 fps shooting)... besides the speed I want this camera. |
