^^^ Well, of course it's going to have more noise - what do you expect? The 5D mkII has half the pixel density of the T1i sensor, and larger micro-lenses.

The 50D has more noise than the 40D though.. If this continues in the same tradition the T1i will have more noise than the XSi.

It's 30fps on 720p mode which i think is still great for a DSLR, depends what your filming...
The price is so great for a camera with all these options, I was going to upgrade to the 50D, still might because not impressed with the speed of the T1i (3.4 fps shooting)... besides the speed I want this camera.
