Live Streaming Video Games?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/7962180.stm

Connect this box to your TV and a high speed internet connection, and play super high end games on a server. Basically it instantly streams the video content from box to your TV, and your control inputs to the server. Means you don't need crazy expensive hardware, and they can upgrade their servers as the technology changes... an interesting idea...

EB games is going to lose their mind if gaming goes that way. All video game sales would become online instant purchases.

I think it'll flop even if it's popular... the bandwidth and server costs would be insane compared with a reasonable per month subscription fee.
