The good things they do for us is as expected. Not only are they serving the citizens, but their neighborhood as well. When I go to work, I go out of my way to get jobs done or helping other employees. I don't expect recognition or a thank you, it's just the pride of knowing you did a good, or better job, than others in the end that makes it feel worth it.
That's a very cute little paragraph.

But the fucking cookie crumbles both ways.
If you believe that throwing the spot light on negative police work is a way of keeping other police officers in line, you're quite the retard I assumed you are.

If thats how we're going to keep our officers in check, why then, are you fucking crying when the police kick your stupid ass to keep you in line? Eh?

You're just as big of hypocrite as Jason is. Both of you will talk shit about the Police but the second your ass is on the line you'll both be calling other men in uniform to come and protect you from the big bad bully stealing your fucking lunch money.

Also, just as it is your duty at work to do your job to the best of your abilities.. it is also your duty as a citizen to obey the fucking law. Heck, not all of us do it because we love it but we have to do it nonetheless. Now grow the fuck up, shut the fuck up and try to blend in with the rest. You're nothing more than a bunch of retards floating in the mediocrity of society anyways, no matter how much you complain.

It may work, but it's definitely not the best way of doing it. Feedback should be positive and negative. There should be punishment for screwing up and recognition for doing things well. Otherwise, you're just playing half the equation and end up with success being defined as 'playing it safe' and 'not screwing up' instead of being encouraged to achieve more, which usually means taking on some risk (ie failing).

Too bad the media doesn't work this way or the ppl don't demand that side from them. Instead, everyone gets an unbalanced view of reality.

Meh. Back in highschool, Global interviewed 10 students from my school and asked them basic questions like who is the Canadian Prime Minister.
Their findings was 80% highschool students didn't know who as the Canadian Prime Minister.

The other thing to consider is that most of these people who have opinions about the whole incident have little to no police training and have no idea what it take to be a police officer or what procedure/protocols there are.

If you went to trial, would you wing it and represent yourself or would you hire a lawyer? Same thing as the general public commenting and giving their opinions about the rcmp.

Ask an officer and I'm sure they can further educate you of the risks the environment of their duties produce.

0 sympathy! They killed someone instead of risking a couple of bruises.

4 on 1 and they had to resort to tasing him? Ever heard of a club? Tackling him maybe?

Fuck, if they had jiu jitsu training, they could have taken the guy down and controlled him with only 1 officer there.

Anyways, just a good example of cops that are undertrained, trigger happy, and don't give a FUCK about the rights of the people they are killing.

You fucking idiot, if we had realistic gun laws and the ability to CCW, when the fuck would I need the police?

When do I need them as is? All I need is CCW and I can't think of a time when I'd need the cops.

1. When my house is broken into
2. ????????????????????????????

Fuck you. Don't be stupid. We are an UNARMED, SITTING DUCK population because of this nanny state mentality. In Costa Rica nobody fucked with us because WE HAD GUNS.

The big problem with the US is that they are flooded with guns, drugs are illegal, and they have a massive amount of uneducated, disenchanted citizenry.

When guns are outlawed, only outlaws have guns...

The decent into an authoritarian state does not happen overnight, but instead is a slow loss of rights, and a gradual expansion of government.

So what do you suggest? Disbanding the governing bodies?

Remember, giving guns to everybody means giving them to every body. The retards included. No thanks.

Almost sounds like you are suggesting we willingly bow to our masters?

Government is supposed to serve the people, not the other way around.

I'm not for giving guns to everyone, I'm for giving people who qualify the ability to CCW in Canada.
