It's the same deal for a lot of motorcycles places.

I must admit though, what's a 55yo doing trying to buy a hardcore sports car? (let's not get into how "hardcore" an M3 is ;))

ROFL

Walk out and go to AutoWest or Northshore BMW or The BMW Store.

I wouldn't buy ANY car without test driving, it's like buying clothes without being able to try it on...STUPID lol

I'm not sure about motorcycles thought.

seems this is so off topic already

you can't try on underwears before you buy it

HonestTea 03-31-2009 01:44 AM

^

Wow...seriously? =_=;;

You're comparing oranges to strawberries..

You can test drive cars at other dealerships? Yes
You can try on clothes at every store? Yes

See the resemblance?

How the fuck does your "underwear" logic work? Just cause I generalized "clothes" it automatically means underwear?

Using your logic, you shouldn't test drive your future purchases of cars. Hell, don't even walk inside your next real-estate purchase...

I rarely try on clothes and I haven't test drove any of the last 3 new vehicles I've picked up. Just sayin.

my dads sister is in a jam =)(thats what she calls it lol they ve purchased 2009 m3 white bmw top edition with all the fancy stuff...all you bmw guys prob. know what im taking about.. however after about a month of NOT DRIVING (car is basically sitting in the garage) 500 km, they ve decided that its crap... too small, too loud, too fast lol not practical and not comf. (for 55+yo people) -- ive taken m3 for a ride and i must agree..its not worth 100,000$....

anyways we are just wondering if anyone is aware of the return/refund or exchange policy on bmw vehicles... i tried calling dealership and left a message this morning however i have not heard back from anyone yet...

tips and any replies would be appreciated.

other than that im in charge of selling the vehicle... if we can not return it...

sounds like your dad's sister is either very rich... or very stupid... or both

buying a car ain't like buying a pair of pants..simple as that

Test Drive neone?

death_blossom 04-01-2009 03:47 AM

If your dad's sister (aka Aunt) wants to get as much of their money back, then you should look into selling the car to a buyer in China. They'll probably get close to their purchase price, or even more.

i dunno, a M3 sedan is both powerful & practical.

I dunno why anyone would buy a coupe if practicality is on their mind. Wven if it has 4 seats, it's meant for 2 ppl

Sorry, I must have missed it. Where did the OP write anything about his aunt getting a coupe?

well, the sedan is practical. So given that one of the complaints is that M3 they got is not practical. I deduce it's a coupe.

perfect_g 04-01-2009 12:41 PM

my offer stands, $20k + my new 335i

SoulCrusher 04-01-2009 01:52 PM

Im willing to pay 70% of whatever your aunt paid for the car. PM me if you think we can work something out.

HonestTea 04-01-2009 04:28 PM

I still haven't gotten a PM from him... lol

threezero 04-01-2009 04:30 PM

told my dad about this and he is serious if the price is right. than again no reply from OP
