DavidNguyen 04-03-2009 05:30 PM

i think. i repeat i THINK. Petro Canada

Eastwood 04-03-2009 06:19 PM

Whatever it is, its shitty gas, and it burns much quicker than Shell or Chevron.

simsimi1004 04-03-2009 06:21 PM

"In Canada, a limited number of 7-Eleven locations have filling stations with gasoline distributed by Shell Canada, Petro-Canada, or Esso."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7-Eleven

lilaznviper 04-03-2009 07:11 PM

most of them dont even have gas stations... i remember the one near naniamo and broadway 7-11 had esso gas station

alex.w *// 04-03-2009 07:13 PM

the one on knight street is affialiated with petro

Marco911 04-03-2009 07:48 PM

Yeah it's inventory of stock left over from Winter gas the previous season. Gas has a shelf life!

03aspec 04-03-2009 08:59 PM

mohawk, super-save and husky are all the same. they don't have their own specific gas, they buy from what ever company will sell it to the them the cheapest. thats why i only fill up at chevron, they have their own gas.

shenmecar 04-03-2009 09:04 PM

i go to sevie for slurpees not gas! i get my gas from shell =D

1990TSI 04-03-2009 11:14 PM

2 in squamish, ones an esso ones a petro can.

both are useless. Chevron FTW

JSALES 04-03-2009 11:18 PM

i don't trust 7-11 gas

!Aznboi128 04-03-2009 11:19 PM

its split between esso and petro i think

but like all people above chevron ftw

Raid3n 04-04-2009 12:15 AM

176 st @ 60th ave is a petro...

and i only use Chevron, they're the only ones with 94 octane.
driving thru the states to cali was a bitch... the best i could get was 92... a lot of the time i was stuck with 91 octane.

funny how there's a petro across the street as well :haha:

jlenko 04-04-2009 09:38 AM

Umm... you guys DO know there's only ONE refinery left in Vancouver right? That being Standard/Chevron, and they supply pretty much everyone in Metro Vancouver right now... aside from those who actually pipe in their own fuel from refineries elsewhere, ie Edmonton...

Add to that, fuel companies swap fuel all over the place... so even though it says Shell, it might be Chevron gas, it might be Petro-Can gas...

It all comes from the same tankers that fill up on the side of Burnaby Mountain (those huge green tanks you can see from Hwy 1)

Crude is shipped into Vancouver to supply all retail gas chains? I'm not sure how the fuel distribution system works.

iPee 04-04-2009 02:01 PM

I'm pretty sure Petro has 94 as well.

tiger_handheld 04-04-2009 02:45 PM

Problem is alex.w *// wasn't specific enough.

He was referring to the 7-Eleven on Knight and 57th, which has Petro Canada gas pumps.

mmmk was thinking he was referring to the 7-Eleven at Knight and 33rd, where the gas pumps are 7-Eleven branded, and there's a Petro Canada kitty corner to it.

petro doesn't carry 94, no.

iPee 04-04-2009 03:36 PM

^fuck no way???

I swear they have it, maybe thats why my car hasn't been running as smooth lately.
Does this mean I have been putting 91 in my tank ??

Gasoline Grades Available at Petro-Canada
Octane Level Petro-Canada Brand Name

slammer111 04-04-2009 04:07 PM

I thought all gas is pretty much the same at a given octane rating.
