Rapidshare is worth it. My 1 year membership was up last month but I had enough points to extend my account for another 6 months for free.

I got a MU account. Def worth it if you are a frequent uploader of a RS/MU type of forum. RS is more annoying, but it's easier to get premium. MU is much more preferable, but it takes over 10k downloads to get one month worth of premium. IMO, Mediafire is the best. But you gotta pay to get the most out of everything.

So many thieves just in this post alone...

Mediafire,zshare and zippyshare are the best for mp3's. Rapidshare and $$$$$$$$$$ have started to crack down on illegal content.

Yes, because absolutely everything on Rapidshare is professional porn with a copyright associated to it...

at the same time people are getting smart and not naming the files exactly what it is.

For example instead of naming a file

Hells.Kitchen.US.S05E11.WS.PDTV.XviD-FQM.part2.rar

you would name it hkus.s05e11

not that tv shows get taken down all that much..

Mediafire gives me the fastest downloading speed for me. Plus, no wait times + infinite downloads if you have an Internet Download Manager.

Yup, but I've noticed even with renamed files for full albums rapidshare is still taking the links down. I suspect the record labels just google album names and forward the links to rapidshare to have it removed.

Yeah, mediashare has good speeds. I sometimes get 1mb/s downloads from $$$$$$$$$$ without a account. Zippyshare is also good because you get a preview like zshare but you don't have to wait to download files.

Does mediafire have points like RS and MU do?

Yeah, but you gotta be premium I believe.

And uhmmm, I have 0 reward points from MU, but I had at least 20+ people download my files under 100mb. Do you have to be premium to get them?

i had one and mainly used it for chinese series and porn, it was great

I use auto downloaders for RapidShare now... just set it and forget it! :D
