Rapidshare is worth it. My 1 year membership was up last month but I had enough points to extend my account for another 6 months for free.

I got a MU account. Def worth it if you are a frequent uploader of a RS/MU type of forum. RS is more annoying, but it's easier to get premium. MU is much more preferable, but it takes over 10k downloads to get one month worth of premium. IMO, Mediafire is the best. But you gotta pay to get the most out of everything.

Mediafire,zshare and zippyshare are the best for mp3's. Rapidshare and $$$$$$$$$$ have started to crack down on illegal content.

For example instead of naming a file
Hells.Kitchen.US.S05E11.WS.PDTV.XviD-FQM.part2.rar
you would name it hkus.s05e11
not that tv shows get taken down all that much..

not that tv shows get taken down all that much.. | Yup, but I've noticed even with renamed files for full albums rapidshare is still taking the links down. I suspect the record labels just google album names and forward the links to rapidshare to have it removed.
Yeah, mediashare has good speeds. I sometimes get 1mb/s downloads from $$$$$$$$$$ without a account. Zippyshare is also good because you get a preview like zshare but you don't have to wait to download files.

it is worth it if you have sites with a lot of rapidshare stuff you want to download
i had one and mainly used it for chinese series and porn, it was great
