4Matic is pretty terrible in comparison to Quattro and xDrive...both on paper and on the street/track.

The trailer hitch is actually part of the frame. The gooseneck isn't a realistic option because of the height of the truck. It's just too tall. But it's rated for 25,000 lbs using the frame hitch. That's a lot of weight to haul. Iirc, the max we've put on it is about 21,000lbs.

Btw, the e30 m3 is absolutely stunning. The era that m3 came out had the most stunning BMW models ever produced.
