I thought that as well, but looking at the wing, I think it's just a Turbo.

Spent the evening with this Vantage. The car was a blast to drive, especially with the 6-speed

Sexy, powerful, luxurious, 6 speed! What more could you ask for?

very classy car. has this "gentleman-ness" / "james bondness" that a 911 carrera would never have...

on another note, I have mistaken a Ford Fusion front end for an Aston Martin the other day.....

I agree with you on the outside appearance of the car, but have you sat in a 991? The interior is WAY more luxurious/classy than I would have ever expected from porsche, while still feeling raw and race inspired at the same time. I sat in a new Carrera 4 GTS that was loaded to the tits, and I just about got on the phone with a real estate agent to list my Condo. I've never felt the way I felt in that drivers seat. The feeling was like I was fucking 5 years old getting to sit in a fighter jet again. Just awestruck.

I've never sat in a Vantage before, but I have parked a DB9 before and man, that interior is to die for. Very simple yet elegant.

yep. sat in 991 last week. essentially a Panamera/ Cayenne style interior... high centre console.

very nice looking, very modern... nicer materials compared to 997. lotta buttons on centre... only thing I found unusual was the electronic ebrake instead of the traditional one on the old car.

Havent driven one, so no idea how it compares to a 997 on the road.

To be fair, the current Vantage is the same generation to the 997, so... I would prefer the Vantage interior over the older 997. Theres always a thing about British car interiors that I like over their German rivals.... probably the leather, trim and little things in the interiors.

991 is nice, i agree. But im not crazy over it.

Got to drive a DBS once........ :sweetjesus: that was a dream.

I saw a black slantnose on the way to work today too, near burrard st. The thing is, I've seen tons for sale, but most are aftermarket conversions. I don't know enough about them to tell the difference unless I see them next to each other. :okay:

tofu1413 11-28-2012 11:14 PM

only way to really see if its factory: check the option sticker under the hood. there was an option number for the slant nose cars, but i cant remember from the top of my head...
