Why do all the rich people in Vancouver who own exotic cars feel the need to wrap their cars in some gaudy wrap? It's almost like a necessity that a wrap goes hand-in-hand with a Ferrari or Lamborghini. The worst are the ridiculously hideous crack lines. I understand the Diamond Rally decals but seriously half of the exotic cars driving around on our streets are so unbelievably gaudy. It's an absolute breath of fresh air when I see an exotic car in a nice colour that's NOT wrapped with some obscene crack lines or plastered with Instagram accounts with images of sacrilegious things done to exotic cars or people standing on top of exotic cars.

Another example of people who cannot buy good taste in car mods with their
parents' money. :troll:

Yes it does.

Guys the liveries on the cars were done for the rally, most of them will be peeled off within the next couple weeks. It's not like they were plastered like that for no reason.

I don't think he's necessarily speaking about just the rally, just a thought that popped up after looking at all the cars. Like why the fuck would someone wrap a ferrari red from MMdesign. Just buy a fucking red ferrari. I get it with older cars where you want a colour change and don't want to break the bank, but these people are literally ORDERING brand new cars in the colour they apparently don't want?
Regardless, I don't care, because there is an RS 4.0 in the photos so I need to go clean the poop out of my pants.

Nothing like ruining a $10k+ paint job on your exotic by wrapping it in some cheap ass vinyl. And a few of the Aventadors have been wrapped a few times so imagine the condition of the original paint.

Thats just it though, I couldn't care less what you do with your vehicle. But every time someone mentions it you go straight to your standard line about rustling jimmies? What if all the exotic owners that are using wraps and crack lines are just better trolls than you? seems to be rustling your jimmies quite a bit.

Do you not see the hypocrisy at all?

Geoc 06-01-2015 07:19 AM

They want attention.

Money can't buy you singing skills, creativity or anything that makes you famous (not without trying at least.)

By wrapping their cars in flashy design and colors (good or bad) they get their desired attention when they pull into a parking lot and make them feel like a million bucks (pun intended.)
