Spotted here locally in the DT of Victoria.. the owner was light on the throttle, so the Scuderia was real quiet.

Seen the ghostbusters hurse driving across knight street bridge today. Also seen the back to the future delorean with a legit looking flux capacitor in port moody on saturday. Is there some kind of car convention going on?

Sorry for potato pic, I usually dont get excited for very many cars, but this car had me jumping up and down as I've always wanted one of these and its the first time I've ever seen one, let alone in Vancouver... I prefer the coupe but still

TVR Cerbera!!

!! that is so rare, learned about these from gran turismo 2, sick spot indeed

underscore 04-22-2015 07:46 AM

Is that a Euro plate behind the BC plate or are those "R" and "C" decals?

boostfever 04-22-2015 08:45 AM

^original UK plate.

As much as I obsess over P-cars, they take an extreme back seat to this beauty. After driving one, I want one. :sweetjesus:. Terrible wheel choice though.

Sorry, not sure if it had two sets of rims on. It does have the SR Auto frame-plate, so it's not likely SR would do that.

white rocket 04-22-2015 12:49 PM

They are staggered ADV1. whatever wheels. Sizing looks wrong. poke on the rear and an almost stretched tire. sad FailFish

westopher 04-22-2015 12:56 PM

Because SR auto.

That looks pretty sick. Would still have a 430 Scud over a 458.

jing 04-22-2015 03:04 PM

I'm all for custom rims and individualisation, but oversized rims and rubber band tires on a Scud just seems just a little counterintuitive

Scud wears 19" wheels from factory. Looks like owner stayed with same size based on that front brake clearance

TVR Cerbera!!

Chimaera

The convertible version of the Cerbera

Can't imagine how much it cost to import nor can I imagine how it would fare in a crash in this region

Hondaracer 04-22-2015 07:07 PM

yea rims on the 430 are fucking sickkk

ADV1 has a few different ones similar, always reminds me of this

even a small fender bender could be bad... where are replacement parts going to come from? does tvr still exist as a company after that whole russian ownership debacle?

[EDIT] they are still around http://tvr.co.uk/noise

underscore 04-22-2015 07:18 PM

^ it'd be no worse than any other rare car really

Oops, ty for the correction.

And yeah, I tried to import a Cerbera back last year that had the front end conversion but a few things stopped me. Parts availability, as far as I can tell, it shares no parts with any other car so everything is to be UK ordered. Next was the extremely frightening description of build quality and safety. From what I was told, you are more safe inside a plastic outhouse while being hit by a truck.

Akinari 04-22-2015 07:30 PM

I will never understand why people stretch tires on a car that's at stock height and will not rub regardless of how wide the wheel and tire package is, doesn't matter what car it is. The whole point of stretching tire was so that wider wheels could be installed while narrower tires would avoid rubbing the fender. From my perspective, the only time when a tire should be stretched is when the car is being taken down the hellaflush stancenation canibeat look.

Meaty fitment > stretched tire

smoothie. 04-22-2015 08:27 PM

Those are less offset and would probably still rub..
