Its such a shame cunts like you try so hard to represent China when all you do is make others hate you and that shithole. I've met some very humble, polite, and hard-working exchange students from China last week and its a night and day difference how you present yourselves.

I hope you're happy you're a part of this minority of cunts that contribute to this negative image and stigma of your own people. People don't hate you because you're Chinese. Its because of fucktards like you people hate the Chinese.

This, 100%.

Can we ban the fool already, especially now that he's seemingly involved in illegal trade?

I always thought gululu was some racist white guy that was playing a caricature of the mainlander in order to start race wars on RS (not the good kind of race wars with johnny tran.)
No one can actually be that fucking retarded......

I stopped making statements like this, because you really cannot even imagine the depths to some people's stupidity.

It's the same reason I stopped saying "At least it can't get any worse" at work, Cause BOOM! It always got worse...

That's a 62'
They have that great looking piece of trim which goes down the side. Very nice car.

Also, the passenger side seat belt is stuck in the door.

are those antennaes stock?
i always liked the SS...i didn't realize the vintage ones had crazy wheelbase until i saw it in person...guess being slammed made it look even longer

originalhypa 10-21-2016 09:43 PM

Hydros and air ride have allowed owners to really show off the beautiful lines of the impala cars. The antennas were an option. They weren't cheap either with Chevy dealers asking $140 each back in 1963 dollars.

Not bad but the ride quality must be awful.

Lancia Scorpion spotted in my work parkade, incredibly rare

Whoever owns that car and parking spot also has a C7 Z06. Interestingly no collector plates (yet?)

Ride quality in a Ferrari is awful regardless lol I drove a stock 458 Spyder last year and the harshness of the suspension and the overall noise level from trim pieces and hard top was appalling. Not at all what i expected a newer Ferrari to be like.

Akinari 11-09-2016 08:34 AM

It's a shame we don't see more of these here. I for one find the R8 V10 to be a much more attractive car than the Huracan. If I had the money, it would be R8 > Huracan in a heartbeat.

Although I will say, it does look like the owner of this R8 has never washed it once since taking ownership of it :lawl: which is a shame. Those wheels have so much brake dust caked on it's insane.

Also that Chinese lady was not the owner of that R8, as I initially presumed

bcuzracecarz 11-09-2016 10:04 AM

I agree, I'm sure Harvey will chime in on the matter, considering he's probably one of, if not the only one with a opinion of both first hand haha

6thGear. 11-09-2016 11:01 AM

I was never a fan of the old R8. But those new ones there look sick

320icar 11-09-2016 11:28 AM

I actually much prefer the original r8 4.2 myself. I just like how reserved it is

white rocket 11-09-2016 12:46 PM

Jeebus, $350K for those things? When I originally commented on the white one that was posted thinking that it would be cool to have a built track car right from the factory I was thinking it was in the mid-100K range; not $350K. Haha! It's now an official joke in my books. Hmmm.....let's see, would I rather have a caged up Boxster or a full blown GT3? Jee, lemme think about that for just a sec..................FailFish

Spoiler!

Harvey Specter 11-09-2016 01:36 PM

I had the old R8 V10, awesome car but very dated and the transmission was awful. As for the new R8, it's 100x better but it's lost it's luster imo. The standard V10 pictured comes in around $200k, the V10 plus comes in around $225k but could be nearing $240k'ish with options. The problem is the car isn't selling and you can get discounts and because of this the car isn't holding it's value.

As for the Huracan which shares parts from the V10 plus drives different and handles differently. It's hard to put in the words but if you drive both cars back to back you'll know what I mean. And I personally wouldn't spend say $245k for a new R8 v10 plus when you put in another $30k and get a used Huracan or better yet get a brand new RWD Huracan. Yes, $30k is a lot of money but if you got that kind of money you might as pony up the extra cash and buy something that will hold it's value better.

Verdasco 11-09-2016 03:57 PM

r8 needs to bring back the 2011 or so lip ...... this honeycomb shit i aint feelin vibes with at the moment......

Harvey Specter 11-09-2016 04:10 PM

The other problem with the R8 is the interior. Don't get me wrong it's amazing both in quality and fit but the interior isn't special and it can be find on other Audi models. It sounds snobby but when you're paying $200K+ for a car you kinda expect a bit more exclusivity.

Hondaracer 11-09-2016 06:00 PM

R8's never did it for me, maybe upon release but meh..

Exhaust note isnt really up with the exotics either imo, at least for city driving/light to light rips, reminds me of the G35/350Z hollow note, which i've always hated.

On a slightly unrelated note, a while back i was behind an older 350Z merging into the cassiar tunnel from Mcgill, what really caught my attention was the guy had a single angled muffler on this car as opposed to nearly 100% of the other Z's i've ever seen with the dual (not sure if this is restricting HP etc.)

however, the thing sounded like a fucking BEAST! honestly, it screamed like a ferrari
