Detailer with 25 years of experience is let loose on a Bentley, epic fail.

El Bastardo 05-07-2009 04:52 AM

Its kinda like when you watch those car crash videos on Spike TV.

You know that its not right to laugh because some real damage was done, but you're glad its not your car it happened to.

I thought he was gonna power wash the interior, as well.

Mister Donut 05-07-2009 09:04 AM

That's 4 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

!oHenry 05-07-2009 10:41 AM

OMFG.. he used the same mitt and bucket as he did for the wheels.

JDMStyo 05-07-2009 10:47 AM

i think we're just all hatin' cuz even w/ that shitty detailing techinques, guy gets Bentley clients who's willing to pay $1000 for the Continental Package while most of us have cheap friends who wouldn't even pay $20 for lunch at WhiteSpot for a gruesome 3-stage "detail meet".

FML

no... we're hating because he's an asshole who will probably never get another bently client after this detail.

oh, and whitespot sucks my left nut.

Presto 05-07-2009 11:20 AM

I think we're more disappointed than hatin'. It'd hard to imagine there's all these self-deluded individuals that think they're awesome at something.

woob 05-07-2009 11:28 AM

"don't worry if you get the inside wet, we'll get that out later."

And I guess after 25 years he's learned that power washing takes all the stuck-on dirt off?

fkna... my dad would kill me if I did that to our cars.

Noir 05-07-2009 11:37 AM

Why did he need to detail a car that was clean, shiny and gleaming in the first place? Is it because that no matter the quality of job, the end result will always look good for video review?

i think it was just for video recording purposes

wtf is that guy thinking hosing the car like that? he kept saying clean the wheel well...but i didn't even see him spray into it...

The_AK 05-07-2009 02:27 PM

That was the most half-assed "detailing" I've seen. There is a very good chance my dad would hit me if i washed his car like that!

Harvey Specter 05-07-2009 02:45 PM

I can't imagine all the water and possible water damage inside the cabin and behind the door panels.

d1 05-07-2009 02:48 PM

Where's the epic fail? If you get your car washed at any of the places locally they would probably do it the same way.

Would they really use 409 to wash a car?

Hondaracer 05-07-2009 03:43 PM

hk20000 05-07-2009 03:49 PM

lol mit in door hinge = grease all over the mitt

even if this is a $1000 beater this is still a fail job at cleaning it.
